Hi my name is Stuart Smith. I have completed 19 years of successful teaching. I have gained experience of teaching years 7 to 11 Science and several years teaching A levels in Chemistry and Physics. Recently I was an examiner for Cambridge A level Chemistry. I have used my experience to develop a dynamic positive teaching style. Across the academic spectrum students find popular science in the media engaging and I make full use of this. Before coming into teaching I enjoyed many years working in the Shipbuilding Industry. This invaluable experience has enabled me to have knowledge of life outside the classroom and has enabled me to form a more rounded character. This has benefited work as a tutor as well as strengthening my ability as a team player. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics. I studied BSc Chemistry at The University of Bristol and went on to study a PGCE in Science at The University of Bristol. A large coponent of my degree course included Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics.

After 20 years of secondary school classroom teaching in English and History, I am branching out into online teaching. I taught in London, at Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and have since taught in South Africa, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I run Parkrun, grow and sell organic vegetables, and enjoy wilderness walking. After A Bachelor of Arts in History and English, at Wits University in Johannesburg in 1984, I did a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Education, in English and History. I then taught in London and South Africa for nine years, during which time I qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Applied Linguistics, from Wits University. In 1998, my family and I went to Vancouver, British Columbia, for me to study a Masters Degree in Theology. We returned to SA in 2002. In 2016, I graduated with a PhD in History, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled for my TTA TEFL certificate, Level 5, to qualify and teach EFL, from April 2025.

Hi, I’m Sivapriya, 25 years old, and I have been working on this platform since February 2022. Besides that, with a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering, I studied math and computer science until my 7th semester, thus gathering extensive knowledge in these areas. Having recently completed a postgraduate diploma course in teacher training in the Montessori method at INTESOL Worldwide, UK, and obtaining a certificate in teaching UK-based synthetic phonics, I specialize in creating engaging and exciting environments for teaching phonics and math. Through real-world applications, children can enjoy learning in a fun and interactive manner. Teaching Methodology: I favour the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. Firstly, I engage and captivate the class. Next, they study the target language, followed by controlled practice activities. Finally, they engage in free practice activities related to the target language.
