Hello! My name is Mark and I’m a graduate from Northumbria University with a 1st class Physics BSc with honours. I like to focus my sessions on the areas of a subject that you struggle with the most, starting from the beginning and building a strong understanding that you can use in the classroom and your exams. My sessions are pupil-led, where I am there to provide guidance, direction, examples and support. I love physics, especially the topics of space and energy, and I think that a passionate teacher can make even the most difficult subjects more approachable. I have experience tutoring, helping local pupils with their physics over COVID lock-downs. I look forward to meeting you! I have graduated from Northumbria University Newcastle with a First Class Bachelors with Honours in Physics. I studied Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and English Literature (B) at Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School. I have 12 months experience tutoring GCSE physics both online and in person.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, reading science articles, and experimenting with new ideas, which keeps my mind curious and creative. I graduated with a degree in Master of Arts in Teaching- Biology Education, where I gained a strong foundation in scientific concepts, teaching strategies, and classroom management. With 2 years of face-to-face teaching experience, I have designed and delivered engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and interactive activities that cater to diverse learning styles. I strive to create a supportive, motivating classroom environment that encourages every student to develop critical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong love of science while achieving their full potential.

Hi, I’m Jeane! I’m a passionate English teacher who loves helping students connect with literature and language in fun and creative ways. I strive to make learning exciting with lively discussions, role-playing, and fun activities, all while sparking curiosity and building confidence in my students. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me watching movies on Netflix and making sure I hit my 10,000 steps every day, which keeps me energized and motivated throughout the day. I am a Physical Therapy graduate and have completed a Teaching & Demo course with New York Universities as an international student. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in teaching strategies, language, and literature. Through my studies, I developed the ability to design well-structured lessons that cater to individual students’ needs. After finishing my TEFL course and got certified, I gained experience in creating engaging activities and incorporating real-world examples to enhance student comprehension and make an interactive, enjoyable learning experience.

I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.
