Hello! My name is Ria, and I am a Chemical Engineering graduate with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where I completed my degree in November 2025. I am passionate about education and enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities. While I primarily tutor Mathematics, I can also assist with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I am comfortable teaching learners from Grade R through Grade 12, although I particularly enjoy working with younger students between the ages of 6 and 12, as this is such an important stage for building strong academic foundations. Throughout my academic journey, I have informally tutored family members, friends, and classmates from high school through to university level. These experiences taught me that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual learner. I strive to create a calm, patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards learning. I believe that when students understand concepts clearly and feel supported, they are capable of achieving far more than they may initially believe. During my time at university, I also worked on a biogas research project in a laboratory setting, where I gained valuable problem-solving and analytical skills. I enjoy sharing real-world examples from science and engineering to make learning more engaging and relatable for students. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, running, and spending time at the beach. I look forward to helping students grow in confidence, strengthen their understanding, and build the skills they need to achieve their goals and dreams. My academic journey has been shaped by a strong passion for mathematics, science, and problem-solving. I graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree with Honours from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa in November 2025. Throughout my studies, I developed a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, process engineering, and analytical thinking, while also learning how to approach complex problems in a logical and structured manner. Chemical engineering is a challenging and multidisciplinary field that combines scientific principles with practical problem-solving to design and improve industrial processes. During my degree, I studied a wide range of subjects, including advanced mathematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, reaction engineering, process control, and process design. These subjects strengthened both my technical knowledge and my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. One of the most rewarding aspects of my academic career was participating in research and design projects. I worked on a biogas enrichment research project that focused on improving the methane content of biogas through water scrubbing techniques. This project involved laboratory work, experimental design, data analysis, and technical presentations. Through this experience, I developed strong analytical, research, and communication skills while gaining hands-on laboratory experience. In addition, I completed several engineering design projects involving distillation design, reactor design, process simulation, process optimisation, and process control. These projects required the use of engineering software and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. They also strengthened my teamwork, problem-solving, and project management abilities. Throughout my academic journey, I have regularly assisted family members, friends, and classmates with their studies, ranging from school-level mathematics and science to university-level engineering concepts. These experiences helped me develop a patient and adaptable teaching style and reinforced my passion for education. My academic background has equipped me with not only strong technical knowledge but also the ability to explain concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. Even in University, I have volunteered to teach the younger years about Medicine and when it comes to online tutoring, I have had a good amount of experience when it comes to teaching GCSE content to students. I really enjoy getting to meet all the new people I have the privilege of teaching and in a way this job is very rewarding for me because I know just how much of an impact tutoring can have on not only a student's performance in their exams but also their confidence when it comes to various topics. In my spare time I like to play football, watch documentaries and best of all spend time with my friends. Thank you :) For secondary school, I attended Ermysteds Grammar School in Skipton. The school required an 11+ exam for entry which I comfortably passed. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. And as of now, I am in my third year of Medical School with hopes one day of becoming a Cardiologist.

I hold a strong academic and professional background in Spanish language, culture, and education. I graduated in Hispanic Studies and later completed an MA at the University of Glasgow, where I developed advanced knowledge of Spanish and Latin American literature, history, politics, and cultural studies. My academic training gave me a deep appreciation of the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world, from Golden Age literature to contemporary Latin American society. I am also a published poet. I have experience of teaching English Language and Literature. Alongside my academic qualifications, I also completed a PGCE and obtained Qualified Teacher Status through the St Mary's University. This provided me with strong pedagogical foundations in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and differentiated learning. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities and aim to create engaging lessons that build both confidence and linguistic competence. I have lived and travelled extensively in Spain and Latin America, experiences that significantly enriched my understanding of regional accents, idiomatic language, social customs, and cultural traditions. These experiences allow me to bring authenticity and real-world context into the classroom. My particular interests include Hispanic literature, contemporary Spanish and Latin American politics, cultural identity, film, and music. I am especially interested in helping students understand not only the mechanics of the language but also the cultural perspectives that shape communication across the Spanish-speaking world. I believe language learning should be intellectually stimulating, culturally immersive, and accessible to all learners. I attended Westminster School (10 O levels, 3 A levels), attained a 2:1 MA in Hispanic Studies at the university of Glasgow, completed my phd finance modules at university of Essex in 0212, received my QTS and PGCE from St Mary's university in 2024. I taught Spanish at Three Rivers Academy and GNSA in Hayes. My specialisations are Hispanic Culture, Literature and Art. I am an expert on world poetry and drama.
