Hello! My name is Ekom. I am an online tutor specializing in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Psychology. I help students understand these subjects, making learning easier for them. My goal is to ensure my students achieve their dream grades. In my free time, I enjoy simple pleasures like eating snacks and watching TV. My ideal relax time involves enjoying a bowl of popcorn while bingeing Friends, these moments help me cool off after a busy day. Overall, I am dedicated to my work as a Tutor. I have always had a passion for learning, especially in the fields of Science and Language. My educational journey started with a strong interest in the Sciences, particularly Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. These subjects interested me and I enjoyed learning of how the world works, from the smallest particles to the complexities of life. I decided to pursue these subjects in depth, gaining a strong foundation in each of them. In addition to my Science studies, I also focused on English and Psychology. English has always been an area of interest for me, I enjoy reading and writing. Understanding the nuances of language has helped me become a better communicator, which is essential in my work as a Tutor. Psychology, on the other hand, interested me and it has helped me understand human behavior, which is valuable in my professional and personal life. As an Online Tutor, I teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Psychology. I help students understand these subjects and improve their grades by making learning easy and fun. My background in these subjects has given me the knowledge and skills to effectively teach students at various levels.

My experience as a tutor extends to both traditional in-person teaching and modern online platforms. Each mode of instruction has presented unique challenges and opportunities, and adapting my teaching style accordingly has been a rewarding experience. In face-to-face tutoring, I developed the ability to assess a student’s understanding in real time, adjusting my approach based on their reactions and engagement levels. This hands-on experience helped me refine my ability to explain complex ideas in simple, relatable ways, making abstract concepts in mathematics and physics more tangible. I had my IGCSE's in Egypt , then I went to a Military Engineering University where I studied Chemical Engineering , graduated in 1999 and worked in my field until 2009 when I took on teaching physics and maths in international schools until 2014 when I focused on tutoring and moved back to the UK where I opened the Digital marketing agency where I help clients build there businesses and teach their teams how to do it themselves in workshops and classes , alongside with tutoring some students in maths and physics.

A Yr13 leaver who studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level. Maths enthusiast engaging within the SMC, achieving Gold, and participated within the Andrew Jobbing's Senior Kangaroo (2024). My enthusiasm for tutoring started from mentoring a student for GCSE (during Yr12). Through my aid and the student’s zeal, the student bumped their grade from Grade 5 (Yr11 Mocks) to achieving Grade 8 (GCSE results day). During sixth form, I belonged to the student mentoring organisation, where I aided a Yr9 student across various subjects, ranging from Biology to RS.
