Hi! I'm Lisa. I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material, rather than simply memorising content for exams. I believe that understanding the fundamentals is the key to long-term success, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and knowledge that will benefit them in further study and university. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and listening to music, particularly Chinese artists such as Jay Chou. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I graduated from St Paul’s Girls’ School for sixth form and achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am an upcoming second year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial College London. I have add around three years tutoring 1v1 and 1v2 experiences in KS3 sciences and GCSE maths.

Hi! I’m a multilingual Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. I teach Spanish, English, Maths and Chemistry, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. I focus on clear explanations, practical examples and interactive exercises to help students build confidence, improve their understanding and make steady progress. I am patient, approachable and happy to support both schoolwork and exam preparation. I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, where my degree combines advanced Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, programming and engineering problem-solving. Before university, I completed secondary education (Spanish Baccalaureate) in Spain following a scientific curriculum. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun!
