ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

My name is Huda i am a passionate, dedicated 3rd year medical student with a strong commitment to helping students unlock their full potential. With experience in tutoring in biology , chemistry and science of primary , secondary (gcse/Alevels) as-well as junior and leaving certificate students . I focus on building solid understanding, exam skills and confidence. I tailor every lesson to suit each students individual learning style and goals, whether they need to grasp difficult concepts, improve exams techniques or boost their grades. I create supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges. My approach breaks down complex material into easy to follow steps, helping students not only to succeed in exams but also develop skills for lifelong learning. being a medical student helped me develop strong analytical skills and deep understanding of complex scientific concepts. My studies have equipped me with excellent problem solving abilities and the discipline required to succeed in demanding academic environments. Prior to medical school, I completed my A-levels/leaving certificate which gave me the first hand insight experience into challenges of GCSE/JC and A levels/LC enabling me to guide students effectively through their own exam preparations. My academic journey has also helped me develop effective study techniques and time management skills that i share with my students to help them improve their own learning.

Hey, I’m Sohail! I’m 20 and currently in my 3rd year of dentistry. I’ve always loved science and enjoy making tricky topics easier to understand. I know what it’s like to feel stuck with studying, so I try to keep things clear, supportive, and even a bit fun to help students feel more confident. Currently studying for a Master’s in Dental Medicine, now in my 3rd year of dental school. Achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at A-level. Strong passion and knowledge in science, especially Biology and Chemistry.

Hi, I’m JJ, an experienced and passionate tutor who’s been helping students reach their academic goals since 2021. I specialize in guiding students through their 11+, GCSE, and A-level exams, tailoring lessons to fit their needs and ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared. Whether it's taking a student struggling with maths and helping them pass, or pushing someone to achieve even higher grades than before, I’m here to make a difference. As a Master’s graduate in Aeronautical Engineering, I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of complex subjects, which I bring into my teaching. My engineering background helps me break down tricky topics into simpler, more approachable concepts that my students can grasp. I also have a proven track record of working with students of all abilities, including those with learning difficulties like dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. I focus on making lessons engaging, supportive, and flexible, so every student can thrive. My goal isn’t just to help with exam prep, but to inspire a love for learning and help students build the confidence they need to succeed. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me? That moment when a student calls on results day, thrilled with their achievements. Knowing I’ve played a part in helping them get there is what motivates me the most. If you’re looking for a tutor who’s committed to helping you reach your full potential, I’d love to work with you!
