Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. For A Level, I achieved A in Maths, Chemistry and Accounting and also B in Physics For GCSE, I had 9 GCSEs including 7 A in Maths, Science, Commerce, Geography, etc My academic excellence serves as a strong foundation in tutoring as I can explain concepts clearly ensuring students grasp the material effectively. My experience in tackling challenging problems equips me with strategies to help students approach difficult questions with confidence and precision.

I am a Spanish native speaker, English and Spanish teacher who enjoys meeting people and learning about other people's culture. I also speak French and I worked for Alliance Francaise for a couple of years. I have been tutoring and preparing students for their GCSE's for three years, I am currently tutoring ESL (English as a second language) and French GCSE's as well. Also I prepare students for DELF diplomes, up to B1 level. My oldest student started when she was in year 9 and she has improved her marks in Spanish consistently. I also have experience teaching children online. I am fond of walking in the nature, spending time outdoors when possible and watching TV series. Preferred student age group: All age groups. My name is Marian, I am a Doctor with a solid foundation in science. I am competent at tutoring pupils in the Irish educational system up to the Leaving Certificate. As a tutor, I've always felt driven to go above and beyond the curriculum's standards to make sure the student thoroughly understands the material. In order to assist the students, I want to first earn their trust by showing them that I have their best interests at heart. I then want to work really hard with them, urge them to give their all, and ensure that they remain motivated throughout. In my classes, I make sure that the lesson is first clearly explained to the students, beginning with the basics and making sure they understand it. From there, I build on that knowledge but most importantly, a foundation should be built. Finally, I give the student an opportunity to explain back to me and switch roles, pretending to be the teacher and teaching me what was learned. The pupils will be offered enjoyable quizzes or games related to the topics taught to help them relax and stop feeling like learning something new is a chore in order to better reinforce the knowledge they have already acquired. The subjects won't be covered only once. It will be explained in class and then summarized at the end. The first few minutes of the following lesson will be used to review what was previously taught. The third time will follow a few weeks later to help with memory recall. There will also be constant reference to earlier lessons if the topics are connected. I have a thorough understanding of the Irish leaving certificate curriculum, not just because I went through it myself, but also because of my experience tutoring students of all ages, particularly junior and leaving certificate students for the past four years. As a result, I have knowledge of the subjects and crucial exam tips, specifically by going over past exam papers with students. Any kid I have taught has experienced a significant increase in their grades from the beginning of the year to the end. I anticipate at least a two-grade improvement for every student who works with me. whenever I provide tests. To give students a realistic rating, I do my best to grade them in accordance with the standards of the junior/leaving certificate. Throughout the classes, these marking criteria will be applied to identify improvements that are also realistic. Because I am very organized in terms of what is required for the lesson and all the materials that will be utilized, delivering tutoring online has never been an issue for me or my pupils. I make an effort to keep the experience as similar as possible to in-person tuition. I will stay in touch with the parents on a regular basis to address any worries they might have, any observations I might have about the student, and to keep them informed about the classes.
