I have obtained a National Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology with the intentions of furthering my studies in the year 2026. My most recent employment was an Assistant Site Manager in a Civil engineering construction company. My other previous occupations were civil engineering intern, library assistant and civil engineering site technician.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education (Biological Sciences) and hold a TEFL certification. My name is Mashika, and I am a civil engineer and a have also worked as a middle school and high school teacher at Villa Grimani International School. I have a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering that I am currently pursuing. Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn. This has truly shaped my teaching style which involves alot of interactive discussions and problem solving which in turn leads to increased self confidence and reasoning ability in students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have had the privilege of tutoring students of different ages and backgrounds in subjects such as Math, Chemistry, and Biology.
