I am Fatima, a passionate teacher with a love for clear communication and creative lessons. I completed my TEFL qualification and my BCom in Accounting at Nelson Mandela University, where I built a strong foundation in finance and business. I later returned to NMU to earn my PGCE, specialising in Accounting and Economic Management Sciences, allowing me to combine subject expertise with professional teaching skills.

I am a graduate entry medical student with a deep passion for science, how the body works and the connection between different systems. When I'm not studying and learning, I love to read, play sims and watch Law and Order! As a tutor, I hope I can help inspire a love for science and help learning become as enjoyable as I find it! I'm currently in my first year of graduate entry medicine at King's College London Branch Campus. I attained a First Class in Biomedical Science from the University of Brighton. I received my A levels certifications in Bellerbys College Brighton in subjects Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I received a distinction in my IGCSEs at Greensprings School Lagos with subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have a certification from the Brighton and Sussex Virtual Work Experience and I have done an internship at Chevron Corporation Limited, Lagos. I am currently doing an online Pfizer virtual work experience in tandem with my degree.

I hold a BSc in Biology (First Class) from Queen Mary University and have recently started my PGCE in Secondary Science at UCL. I’ve been tutoring since 2019, specialising in Biology (KS3, GCSE, A-level), and I also teach Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE level. I know how it feels to hit a wall in science. During my own GCSEs, I struggled with complex Biology concepts until a teacher explained them in a way that finally clicked. That moment sparked my love for science and shapes the way I teach today. I just graduated with a BSc in Biology (First Class Honours), am completing a PGCE in Secondary Biology at UCL (2025), and hold an Access to HE Science Diploma (60 credits, all distinctions but one). I’m a passionate physical science teacher with over six years of classroom experience and a strong presence on online tutoring platforms. In addition to my academic qualifications, I also hold certificates in Computer Studies as well as Business and Entrepreneurship, which have equipped me with valuable skills beyond the classroom. My diverse educational background allows me to connect scientific knowledge with real-world applications, and it strengthens my ability to deliver engaging, well-rounded lessons to my students.
