Hi! I'm Amelia and I am a tutor for Biology, Psychology and Maths. I can teach Biology and Maths at GCSE and A-level standard and Psychology at A-level standard. I have experience with the AQA specification for Biology, Psychology and Maths GCSE and OCR for Maths A-level. I love to make lessons interactive and enjoyable for students while still making sure all core content is covered. I love students to ask questions and get involved with their learning, and will ensure I am fully engaged with all topics that the students hope to cover. My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. Most of my experience is at GCSE level, where I particularly enjoy helping students prepare for exams, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build genuine understanding rather than just memorising formulas. Outside of tutoring, I love combining my interests in science, coding, and education, as well as exploring creative projects that make complex ideas easier to visualise and learn. I’m currently studying for an MPhil in Data Intensive Science at the University of Cambridge, where I’m developing advanced skills in computational methods, statistics, and physics-based data analysis. Before this, I completed a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in mathematical modelling, mechanics, and problem-solving. Hi there! My name is Eve and I am currently a university student who loves learning, meeting new people and helping others. I’d describe myself as a fun and friendly person who’s always ready to laugh and I am here to make studying feel more enjoyable. I know that learning can feel intimidating or challenging, but I believe it’s all about finding the approach that works best for you. I’ve always been passionate about sport and the outdoors. Whether it’s playing football, skiing or going for a walk in nature, being active helps me stay positive, focused and motivated. I try to bring that same energy into tutoring — encouraging students to stay determined, celebrate progress, and see that every small step counts. When I’m not tutoring or being active, I love to listen to music, watching a good series and spending time with friends. I’m a big believer in work-life balance — working hard but also prioritising enjoying life and rest. As a tutor, I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my sessions to suit each student’s needs. Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy the process and feel proud of their progress. I’m looking forward to meeting new students, getting to know them and their individual journeys and I’m excited to work together to build their confidence and reach their end goals. I have always been passionate about learning and challenging myself academically. I have a strong academic background, having achieved 11 GCSEs and three A-levels in Biology, Geography, and Physical Education. These subjects allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how the human body functions, how we interact with the environment and the importance of health and well being — areas that continue to inspire me in day-to-day life. My A-levels built a strong foundation in scientific thinking, analysis and problem-solving, all of which I continue to apply in my current studies. I am now studying Sport Rehabilitation at university, a course that combines my love for sport, science and helping others. It has given me valuable insights into human anatomy, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques, as well as how physical activity supports both physical and mental health. Through my degree, I’ve learned not only the theory behind human biology and movement but also how to apply this knowledge in practical, real-world situations. My academic journey has taught me the importance of perseverance, curiosity, and maintaining a positive attitude toward learning. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far and I am excited to keep building on my knowledge. As a student and tutor, I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others, helping them understand complex topics in a clear and engaging way, and showing that learning can be both enjoyable and rewarding.
