I am a Masters degree from Leeds Conservatoire and a BA from The University of Birmingham. I have 5 years of experience tutoring, offering tutoring in English Literature, Language and Drama from KS3 to A Level. I am a motived and hardworking person with a love for teaching and helping students to reach their full potential. I received a MA with Merit in Musical Theatre Company from Leeds Conservatoire and I have a 2:1 in BA Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham. Before studying at university I attended Wycombe High School for 6th Form achieve AAB in English, History and Drama. As well as a B in AS Level 3 Core Maths. I attended Claires Court school for my KS3 and GCSE education. Achieving 1 8, 3 7s, 4 6s and 2 5s.

I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. In January 2025, GoStudent have added AI to GoClass. AI training was completed and is boosting tutoring outcomes.

My name is Ash and I love tutoring students and showing them ways through which they can not only become a confident learner, but also a confident person overall. I believe that learning should not always be serious and so I tend to make learning interesting for my students at all times. My previous students have said that they never notice the time go whilst learning with me. I enjoy baking, singing, swimming and travelling. I am a Medical Student at University College London with a strong academic background, having achieved A/A* at A Level in Maths, Chemistry and Biology as well as completing an Extended Project Qualification. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students fulfil their full potential and achieve their academic goals. I achieved two A* grades and two A grades at A Level, alongside ten grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE, demonstrating consistent dedication and perseverance throughout my studies. Excelling particularly in mathematics and the sciences, I strengthened my analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills through collaborative projects and presentations. My decision to pursue a degree in Medicine reflects my desire to apply these academic and interpersonal strengths within a field that blends scientific study with real-world impact. The course’s problem-based learning approach continues to refine my analytical and critical thinking abilities while reinforcing effective teamwork and adaptability. Moreover, the organisational and communication skills I have developed — combined with my ability to balance complex academic and personal responsibilities — are qualities I actively bring to my tutoring.
