Hi! I'm Abbie, a fourth year BSc Biotechnology with Industrial Experience student based in Manchester. I'm looking to tutor GCSE Science and A-Level Biology. Having been a student leader throughout my second year, I have a dedication to supporting and teaching students and will use my knowledge and experiences to ensure you make the most out of your studies. I attended Peter Symonds College, where I studied Biology, Psychology, Chemistry and the Extended Project Qualification (A*/A*/A/A*). Hello! I’m a passionate science tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and truly understand Biology and Chemistry. I believe that learning science should feel logical and engaging, not overwhelming. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand concepts step-by-step rather than relying on memorization. This approach helps students think critically, recall information more easily, and perform better in exams. I work with students from different backgrounds and understand that many struggle with anxiety, gaps in foundational knowledge, or low confidence. My goal is to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, learning pace, and academic goals. Above all, I aim to help students feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with majors in Microbiology and Biochemistry, completed in 2020. I later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnology in 2022, which strengthened my foundation in applied biotechnology, laboratory research, and scientific analysis. I am currently completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology, with research-based training in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific writing. In addition, I obtained a Tutor Training Certificate from the University of Johannesburg during my tutoring tenure (2024–2025), where I tutored Microbiology, gaining formal training in effective teaching, student support, and academic facilitation.

I’m Joseph, a postgraduate Computing and Information Systems student at Queen Mary University of London with a background in Geography and Business. I specialise in helping students build confidence in Python programming, database management, and related areas. I take a supportive and structured approach, breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand and apply them I am currently studying for a part-time MSc in Computing and Information Systems at Queen Mary University of London, where I am developing strong skills in programming, database management, and information systems. Prior to this, I completed a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business at the University of Nottingham, which gave me a solid foundation in analytical thinking, research, and data interpretation. This blend of technical and business-focused education allows me to support students with both computing subjects and broader problem-solving skills.

Hello, I’m a medical student with a strong passion for learning, teaching, and helping others reach their full potential. Alongside my studies, I play basketball, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and the value of consistent hard work—qualities I bring into both my academic and tutoring life. I’m a caring and patient person who genuinely wants the best for the people I work with. As a tutor, I focus not just on understanding the material, but on building confidence and effective study habits, so students feel supported and capable long after our sessions end. I attended Whitgift School in Croydon for my secondary education and am currently studying medicine at university. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently supported others with their learning.
