I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. I have lived all over the world, love traveling and exploring and look forward to learning how we can incorporate your personal experiences and passions into your studies. I've always been passionate about language - starting from my early school days, where I would read thesauruses and Atlases memorising all the words and capital cities for pure entertainment! Now, I focus on helping students enjoy and remember what they learn, making every lesson both captivating and effective. With a degree in Media, Culture & Social Sciences from the University of the West of England and as a fully qualified TEFL teacher, I bring a rich blend of cultural insight and academic excellence to my English teaching. I’ve traveled extensively across China, South America, and Europe, which has deepened my understanding of diverse learning styles and cultural nuances. In addition to my educational background, I’m also a certified health coach, specialising in holistic healing and self-empowerment. My approach to teaching is holistic and student-centred, fostering a supportive environment where your child can thrive both academically and inter-personally. My name is Harrison, I am studying electrical engineering at the University of Nottingham. I am passionate about tutoring particularly GCSE Maths. My hobbies include Jiu-Jitsu where I occasionally participate in tournaments and the robotics society at the University of Nottingham working on PCB design and control systems. I am attending the University of Nottingham studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering. At A-level I studied at New College Doncaster where I achieved an A* in Maths and Further Maths, an A in physics and a Distinction* in CTECH IT. At Secondary School I achieved four 9s out of 11 total GCSEs, the 9s being in History, French, English language and Maths. I have 2 certificates currently one being the MATLAB Onramp and the other an introductory course on C#.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I recently completed my A Levels at Queen Anne's School, Reading, where I studied Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. I've had a strong interest in science, sport and problem-solving since I started secondary school, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at university.
