Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! Hi there! I'm Nihar, an LSE university graduate who is working in the Finance Sector. I provide tutoring services for GCSE students who are studying Mathematics, and A-Level students who are studying Economics with over 200 lessons of experience. I also love watching cricket, playing video games, and going to the gym. I completed my A Levels at London Academy of Excellence Stratford, where I studied Maths, Physics, Economics, and an EPQ. I then studied Economics and Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, graduating in 2025. My degree combined economic analysis with intense mathematical rigour. My primary area of specialisation is Economics, with a particular interest in Microeconomics. I have explored the mathematical foundations of economics in depth such as game theory and market structures. I also completed a series of work experiences and internships in the Finance industry. Also, I began tutoring in my first year at university and have now accumulated over three years of tutoring experience, delivering more than 200 lessons to students across a range of abilities.
