I believe that learning should not always be serious and so I tend to make learning interesting for my students at all times. Hello, my name is Edden Fernandez. I am 24 years old, and a Licensed Professional Teacher currently teaching English subject in a private school for three years now. I enjoy helping people learn new things, like spelling words, solving puzzles, or even teaching them songs. I feel happy and proud when I see them understand something because of what I taught them! I believe teaching is such an important profession and vocation, and I want to inspire kids to do their best. When I’m not teaching students, I have a lot of hobbies that keep me busy and happy. I love playing table tennis because it’s so exciting and keeps me active. I also enjoy writing stories, especially about fun adventures and inspiring characters. Reading novels is another favorite of mine—I love diving into new worlds and learning from the stories I read. I graduated from Innovative College of Science and Technology in 2023 with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English, earning my diploma and Latin honor. My academic journey has been deeply enriching, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills that align with the demands of modern education. Throughout my years of study, I cultivated a strong passion for teaching the English language, focusing on developing students’ communication skills and critical thinking.

I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry.
