I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. I use assessments to track progress and plug gaps in their knowledge. My passion is to create successful learners who are able to achieve and exceed the goals they set for themselves. At A-Level, I studied Sociology (Grade A), Psychology (Grade B) and ICT (Grade C) at Southwark College. I then completed my BSc in Sociology and Criminology at City University, achieving a 2:1. I also have a PGCE in Upper Primary which I completed at Goldsmiths College. Additionally, I have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Learning and Development.

For older students, I emphasise exam technique, structured problem-solving, and strengthening any gaps in knowledge. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in Maths or Computer Science, my goal is always to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where progress feels achievable. I have a strong background in both Maths and Computer Science, and I have worked with students across a range of ages and learning styles. My experience includes tutoring primary, secondary, and adult learners, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts as well as their confidence in approaching challenging topics. I have supported students with curriculum learning, homework support, and exam preparation, particularly in Maths and Computer Science. Through tutoring, I’ve worked with learners who needed help strengthening foundations as well as students aiming to reach top grades. I also wrote a research paper about improving teaching strategies in the classroom. After deciding to move to France, I then took a course for how to teach English online to all age groups, from young children to adults. I also completed an advanced grammar and business English course. Currently, I'm teaching Cambridge English to young children and teenagers. I help students prepare for IGCES, GCSES and A levels. I also teach ESL to all age groups. At the moment, I am learning French and I'm currently on a B1 level in my language development.
