Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

Hello! My name is Daher Salameh and I'm a mechanical engineer. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as an R&D engineer. I always had a passion for teaching and valued education a lot, as it's our tool to build a better future for ourselves and keep moving forward as individuals and as a society. My area of expertise in teaching is mainly Math and Physics (but also taught other subjects) and I have more than 5 years of experience in this field. Throughout the years, I have learned to deliver concepts to students in ways they have never seen before — that I believe are interesting — which encourages them to learn. I always try to present the physical significance behind every concept, the intuition behind the formulas, and the relation of everything academic to its real life counterpart. Hi! My name is Mia and I’m currently a student at Univerista Bocconi In Milan, studying Economics and Finance. I was born in London, and grew up there and also spent 7 years in Abu Dhabi. My hobbies include travelling and playing netball and of course relaxing with my friends. I attended Brighton College Abu Dhabi for majority of my high school and finished my last 2 years of education at Latymer Upper School in London where I did A levels. I took maths, physics and economics alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification on whether unpaid (household) labour should be recognized within GDP, earning a merit! I received an excellence award for all A**'s in my GCSE's from edexcel and have had loads of experience tutoring GCSE's and Levels given I didn't do them long ago.
