Hi, I’m Amelia Hope, an enthusiastic and dedicated math teacher! I enjoy making math simple and approachable while building confidence and curiosity in my students. I bring lessons to life with real-world applications, interactive activities, and fun challenges that make learning exciting. Outside of teaching, I love playing chess, which sharpens my problem-solving skills, and experimenting with baking and cooking, where I embrace creativity and growth. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, where I built a strong foundation in problem-solving, logical thinking, and core mathematical principles. My studies equipped me with the ability to simplify complex concepts, connect lessons to real-life situations, and make learning meaningful. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.

Hello! I am a maths tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping students understand maths in a clear and simple way while building their confidence. I teach students from primary level to GCSE and A Level, focusing on strong fundamentals, problem solving skills, and helping students feel comfortable asking questions. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, where I developed strong numerical and analytical skills. I also completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, which strengthened my knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and logical problem solving. I’m a mechanical engineering student who enjoys learning, staying active, and improving at things over time.
