I graduated with a First Class Honours in my undergraduate studies in Aerospace Electronic Engineering, during which I was honoured with accolades including the National AI and Robotics Student of the Year award and the prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. Academically, I achieved top grades across all my GCSE and A-Level subjects, earning A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. Hello! I’m a passionate science tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and truly understand Biology and Chemistry. I believe that learning science should feel logical and engaging, not overwhelming. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand concepts step-by-step rather than relying on memorization. This approach helps students think critically, recall information more easily, and perform better in exams. I work with students from different backgrounds and understand that many struggle with anxiety, gaps in foundational knowledge, or low confidence. My goal is to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their abilities. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, learning pace, and academic goals. Above all, I aim to help students feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with majors in Microbiology and Biochemistry, completed in 2020. I later obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnology in 2022, which strengthened my foundation in applied biotechnology, laboratory research, and scientific analysis. I am currently completing a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology, with research-based training in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific writing. In addition, I obtained a Tutor Training Certificate from the University of Johannesburg during my tutoring tenure (2024–2025), where I tutored Microbiology, gaining formal training in effective teaching, student support, and academic facilitation.

I have completed my GCSEs, A - Levels and Bachelor's degree with top grades and have experience teaching mathematics from primary to GCSE level. My approach is all about building the confidence of my pupils. I focus on exam preparation in every lesson so the student understands what to expect in the real exams as well as dedicating sessions to tackle worded problems and showing the best techniques to solve them. My easy and friendly tutoring style allows me to adapt to the student's need on an individual basis from pupil to pupil. Lots of practice material and notes available to help build exam techniques. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Warwick, achieving a 2:1. My degree included quantitatively intensive modules such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Money & Banking, and Environmental Economics, all of which strengthened my mathematical reasoning, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills. Before university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Economics (A), and Physics (A), building a strong foundation in algebra, calculus, mechanics, and mathematical modelling. At GCSE level, I earned high grades including an 8 in Mathematics. My academic background has equipped me with a strong specialisation in quantitative analysis, applied mathematics, and statistical methods, skills that directly support my ability to teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too.
