Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. Hello! I am a dual Australian-British national and a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws. Having lived in four different countries, I understand the unique challenges and experiences of international students—something I bring into my tutoring approach with empathy and flexibility. In April, I had the rewarding opportunity to volunteer in Switzerland, where I taught English to children learning it as a second language. This experience deepened my understanding of ESL (English as a Second Language) learning needs, so if you're an ESL student, I can support you in building both fluency and confidence in your written and spoken English. Hi! I am a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in Biology A-level/ GCSE, and Chemistry GCSE. I achieved A* AA in these subjects at A level and have experience tutoring students within school. I studied AQA exam boards for Biology and Chemistry, and Edexcel for Maths. My sessions will focus on building confidence and understanding by using past exam questions as examples to highlight key concepts and how to approach them during exams. During the sessions, we will work through topics that you may struggle on together and practice with exam-style questions so you’re fully prepared. The topics we cover will be completely led by you, so that you get the most out of our time together. I am flexible in my teaching style, so if you learn better other ways, for example mind maps, I am more than happy to do this. Between sessions, I will set small tailored tasks to reinforce what we have covered and help revision, which we will then review together. You will also have access to my detailed Quizlet flashcards which cover all topics. Whether you need help catching up or are pushing for top grades, I am here to help you reach your goals! I went to Wirral Grammar School for Girls, where I achieved grade 9s in all of my GCSEs. At A Level, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and earned A*AA. I’m currently studying Podiatry at university, a healthcare course that combines my love of science with practical, real-world applications. I enjoy how it brings together anatomy, problem-solving, and patient care in a meaningful way. I’ve also tutored friends and family in a range of subjects, particularly in science and maths.
