Outside of teaching and studying, I’m someone who loves exploring the world in every sense. I love to travel, always looking for the next hidden city street, quiet coastal path, or mountain trail to wander. I love experiences that spark curiosity and offer new perspectives, which are some qualities I bring into my lessons, too. I’m also a keen reader and lifelong learner, with a love for books on psychology, inclusive education, and modern fiction. To stay active, I enjoy yoga and long walks, which help me recharge and stay mindful, and I’m always up for trying new creative outlets, whether that’s experimenting with photography, cooking dishes from around the world, or learning a new skill just for fun. Music is another big part of my life; I love discovering new artists and curating playlists for different moods and adventures. These interests not only keep life exciting but also influence the way I connect with students: by staying curious, open-minded, and passionate about learning in all its forms. I’m Joseph, a postgraduate Computing and Information Systems student at Queen Mary University of London with a background in Geography and Business. I specialise in helping students build confidence in Python programming, database management, and related areas. I take a supportive and structured approach, breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand and apply them I am currently studying for a part-time MSc in Computing and Information Systems at Queen Mary University of London, where I am developing strong skills in programming, database management, and information systems. Prior to this, I completed a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business at the University of Nottingham, which gave me a solid foundation in analytical thinking, research, and data interpretation. This blend of technical and business-focused education allows me to support students with both computing subjects and broader problem-solving skills.

I am currently a student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I passed A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with an A,B,B respectively. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball and practicing my violin and piano. I've also participated many workshops to do with communication which has increased my public speaking and collaboration skills. For secondary school I attended King Edwards VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys. I left with 11 GCSE's with an 8 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and a 7 in English Literature and Language, French and Business. For Sixth Form I attended the University of Birmingham School for 2 years. I left with an A,B,B in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science respectively.

I also completed part of my education in Nigeria, which has given me a broader perspective on learning and allows me to connect with students from different backgrounds and adapt to their individual needs and growth.
