Hi - I'm Maria! I have just finished my degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield and I love Science. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge, owning a YouTube channel in which I make A Level Biology revision videos. Aside from academics, my main passion is Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and I train up to 10 times per week!! I hope to fight professionally one day. My favourite artist is Green Day. I have just graduated from an MBiolSci degree in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Sheffield. I also have A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish. I’m a computing graduate from London with varied teaching experience, ranging from working as an after-school coding teacher for children as between 5 & 16 years old, to providing 1-to-1 tutoring in both maths and coding, to being a teaching assistant at university. Welcome to my profile. I teach 11+, GCSE Science (physics, chemistry, and biology), and Mathematics. I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I look forward to beginning this journey with you. I have over 4 years (1000+ hours) of experience teaching these subjects: GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, and 11+. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A**) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. I create a friendly and interactive learning space where everyone feels comfortable. Hi, my name is Simranjyot and I started tutoring voluntarily at the age of 12. Since, then I have absolutely loved tutoring and I am truly passionate about this job. I love to make difference in students` lives and help them to see their true potential. I am second year Biomedical Science Student studying in Anglia Ruskin University. I have obtained grade 7 in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. During my foundation year, I learned A - Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics and managed to achieve grade A for all of the subjects.
