I am a second year medical student at King's College London. I received 4 UK medical offers and have a UCAT score in the 95th percentile with a score of full marks (900) in quantitative reasoning. For my A levels I studied biology, maths, chemistry and undertook an EPQ on 3D bio printing and its role in degenerative medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. I currently teach biology to students of varying ages whether that be GCSEs or A levels as well as maths to lower years. Hello. My name is Darren Beech and I have been a Science Teacher for 26 years. I have taught all three science specialisms at key stage 3 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and A level Biology. I have taught all ability ranges over these years and have had exemplary success with the students in my classes. Having left main school teacher in the summer of 2025 to care for a disabled parent, I have moved into tutoring to continue passing on my passion for science and to help continue to get students to progress through their qualifications.
