I could never judge a person’s ability (we’ve all got to start somewhere!) and can take all the time needed to work through a topic. I treat all my students fairly and equally and want to make students feel comfortable so that they have the confidence to raise any query they have, therefore making them a great learner. In school, I had a good experience with exams and can improve your exam technique and revision skills alongside the content. I won’t skim over important details and will also not teach you something irrelevant, ensuring the lesson is given as efficient as possible with the limited time we have. I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. I am an experienced maths teacher/ lecturer. Currently, I work in a training centre, prior to this I have worked in a FE college for more than 6 years, teaching GCSE and functional skills maths. I have also taught ESL to adult groups. I have the experience teaching face to face and online using different platforms. I always worked with children with Special Educational needs from different back grounds. In addition, I worked in primary school supporting year 6 learners to build their maths skills to pass their SATs, before that I was teaching Arabic and Tajweed rules age of 5yrs up to adults.
