After 20 years of secondary school classroom teaching in English and History, I am branching out into online teaching. I taught in London, at Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and have since taught in South Africa, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I run Parkrun, grow and sell organic vegetables, and enjoy wilderness walking. After A Bachelor of Arts in History and English, at Wits University in Johannesburg in 1984, I did a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Education, in English and History. I then taught in London and South Africa for nine years, during which time I qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Applied Linguistics, from Wits University. In 1998, my family and I went to Vancouver, British Columbia, for me to study a Masters Degree in Theology. We returned to SA in 2002. In 2016, I graduated with a PhD in History, at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I am currently enrolled for my TTA TEFL certificate, Level 5, to qualify and teach EFL, from April 2025.

My name is Isshaq Miskin Sahibu, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science in Aberdeen. I am passionate about supporting students in their academic journey and strive to make learning both engaging and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts, ensuring that students can easily grasp difficult subjects. I have experience teaching the GCSE, IGCSE, AQA, and SQA curricula. I am a first year biomedical science student at Queen Mary University of London. I have a passion for science and mathematics and enjoy being able to help others achieve their unique goals. I have had a years worth of experiencing in tutoring people between the ages of 5 and 16 years old and I am looking forward to being able to work with a wider range of students. I studies for my GCSEs at Westcliff High School for Girls and achieved the grades 9998888776. I then studied my A Levels (maths, biology and chemistry) at Southend High School for Girls where I achieved ABB. I am now currently in my first year of studying an undergraduate degree at Queen Mary University of London for biomedical sciences. I have spent a year with the company KipMcGrath where I was a student tutor for people between the ages of 5 and 16 years old in subjects including English, Mathematics and Science.

Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I love seeing wonderful personalities and interests come through, so I look forward to meeting you soon! Outside of tutoring, I am involved in marketing communications. In my spare time I like to watch movies, videos on dog grooming, skincare & perfumes, spend time with friends and bake (when I can).
