My academic journey is deeply rooted in mathematics, with a strong foundation built from advanced courses in calculus, algebra, geometry, statistics, and applied mathematics. I have excelled in math since my school days, and my passion for the subject has only grown over the years. Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I’ve been tutoring since 2020, and I’ve delivered over 400 online lessons through platforms like MyTutor and private tutoring. I specialise in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, with a strong focus on building subject understanding, exam technique, and academic confidence. I’ve supported students with a wide range of needs and abilities and helped many achieve significant improvements in their grades.

Lower level: Maths and 11+ (entrance and SATs) GCSE: Biology (AQA would be preferred) and Maths I am fluent in Turkish and currently learning French. My preferred age groups would be 11-16 (up until GCSE) I am 23 years old, with a lot of educational experience surrounding Maths and Science that I would love to transfer to my students. I believe that learning should be fun for all and strive to ensure my students are enjoying their individually tailored lessons. My hobbies include going to the gym and baking. I am a Physician Associate Master’s graduate from City, St George's, with a background in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology) at Brunel University of London. I have an ever-growing passion for medicine and the world of science, and aspire to forward my knowledge to my students in an enjoyable and interactive way. I have obtained AAB in Maths, Biology and Chemistry A-levels and all A*-B grades in my GCSEs. Separately, I have achieved a Grade 5 in violin and a Grade 3 in Piano.

Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. I hope that I can incorporate my love for literature in my teaching to create memorable and long lasting connections through what I teach my students. I hope my passion for teaching can be seen through my lessons and will inspire those who I work with to achieve their personal and academic goals! Up until leaving school at 18 I attended The Priory Academy LSST. Here I completed my GCSEs, coming away with 12 GCSEs securing two 9s in English Literature and English Language. I decided to choose English Literature, Psychology and Business Studies as my A-Level options and completed the two years with an A* in Psychology, an A in English Literature and a B in Business Studies. Currently, I am in my first year at Durham University studying Psychology with an optional module in English Literature.
