Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. I’m passionate about learning, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals, which is why I’m excited to offer online tutoring. During my A-levels, I studied Business, Law, and Physical Education. These subjects gave me a strong understanding of how businesses operate, how the legal system supports organisations and individuals, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and communication. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students can face and know how valuable clear explanations and supportive guidance can be. Alongside my studies, I play netball for the University of Nottingham. Netball has been a huge part of my life, and I love everything about the sport. It has taught me important skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and time management, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Balancing university studies with competitive sport has also helped me develop excellent organisation and commitment. Outside of university, I’m a proud Liverpool FC supporter and enjoy keeping up with football. I also love spending time with my friends, whether that’s exploring new places, socialising, or simply relaxing after a busy week. As a tutor, my aim is to create a positive, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit each individual’s needs and learning style. At school I achieved 3 A*’s in Business Studies, Law and Physical Education. In Buisness I studied core areas such as marketing, HR, strategic decision making and finance, and particularly enjoyed applying theory to real life scenarios. In Law I covered criminal law, contract law, public law, negligence and more. In PE I did netball as my practical sport and loved learning about the history of sport eg, the olympics. I also achieved 10 GCSE’s all ranging from grade 7-9

Hi! My name is Hector, and I am a 3rd year Biochemistry Student at The University of Warwick. My aim is to help people feel confident in Biology. As a university student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn't make sense. My approach is patient and clearly structured, with a focus on making sure the student not only knows what the answer is, but why it is the answer. Outside of my studies I enjoy going to the gym, playing padel and reading. I hope you will find my lessons enjoyable! I attended The Portsmouth Grammar School where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels. I studied Biology, Chemisty and Maths at A Level. After A Levels I took a year out where I worked as a ski instructor, gaining a Level 2 CSIA qualification, which allowed me to work with a large variety of clients. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of Biochemistry at The University of Warwick with a predicted First-Class, after which I'm going to undertake a masters. I'm love all biology, but my studies currently focus on oncology and molecular cell biology.

As of 2025, I have been a private tutor for a KS3 student (and I am also able to teach at higher or lower levels, such as KS1, KS2, GCSE and A-Level. I have focused on helping this student consolidate their understanding of core skills; where possible, I also aim to stretch the student's understanding beyond their years, helping them to get ahead in their studies. During sixth form, I took part in a project called Maths Masterclasses, where I helped design and deliver lessons to primary school students. Planning my presentation required careful thought about structure, clarity, and how to challenge the students beyond their curriculum. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), researching how education strategies can be used in children’s medicine to give children and their carers better understanding of health. Techniques like “teach back,” where students explain a topic in their own words, have stuck with me as important tools for reinforcing learning. More informally, I’ve often found myself helping friends understand difficult topics, and I’ve learnt how to adapt my explanations depending on who I’m speaking to. These experiences have made me realise how much I enjoy teaching, especially when I can find the right approach to make a tricky concept click. I try to make sessions engaging but focused, and I’m always thinking about how to present information clearly and logically. Away from study, I really enjoy football - I love playing fantasy league and keeping up with scores. I also like to read non fiction (especially Wikipedia these days!) to broaden my knowledge on a wide range of topics. I look forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning as much as possible. I took part in an extracurricular programme called Maths Masterclasses, where I prepared worksheets and delivered presentations to primary school students, helping stretch their understanding of Maths beyond the standard curriculum. I was also a member of the Virtual Medical Society, working with other aspiring medical students to create presentations on topics such as medical current affairs, admission exams, and aspects of the application process. This helped me develop the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and was awarded an A* for my work. My project, titled The Role of Health Literacy in Preventative Children's Medicine, deepened my understanding of the educational principles used in healthcare and how they can be applied within broader educational contexts.
