Hello, I’m Isabella, I’m 19 and currently studying Journalism at the University of Sheffield. I will be tutoring children to prepare them for the 11+ exams. I completed my A-levels at Hills road sixth form college in Cambridge where I studied English, History, Sociology and completed an EPQ. I volunteer for action tutor and hope to help others with their studies. I am passionate about Chemistry, with a PhD in the subject and over five years of tutoring experience. My tutoring style is to ensure a solid foundation in the core concepts, then practicing the skills with exam questions. I cover all exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc) and all topics in Chemistry at GCSE and A level. My highest level of education is a PhD in Chemistry from Durham University. I also obtained an MChem with First Class Honours from Durham University. My A level subjects were Chemistry, Maths, Biology and French (all A grades), as well as 11 A* grades at GCSE.

I’m Tara Patel, a dedicated and passionate Math teacher I love making math engaging and meaningful by connecting lessons to real-life situations and using interactive activities that spark curiosity. My goal is to help you build confidence in problem-solving and truly enjoy working with numbers. I create a fun and supportive learning environment where you feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and succeed. Outside of teaching, I enjoy solving puzzles, watching educational videos, and taking peaceful morning walks. I graduated with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, and I am also a Juris Doctor. This academic background strengthened my skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through my training, I’ve developed the ability to create engaging math lessons, use different teaching strategies, and support students with diverse learning styles. My background in law also sharpened my discipline, critical thinking, and attention to detail—qualities I bring into my teaching to help students become logical, confident, and motivated learners

hi !! I’m Amelia and I’m currently studying Economics at UCL (which involves a lot of maths !!) and going into my second year. I tutor A-Level and GCSE Maths and my main aim is to help build students’ confidence in this important subject. I enjoy playing tennis, going to concerts and traveling. I am currently studying Economics at UCL and am about to go into my second year. I achieved strong results at GCSE including a grade 9 in Maths and Statistics. At A-level I achieved 3 A*’s, including Maths, Economics and History. Alongside my studies, I tutor GCSE and A-level Maths.
