Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies and Educational Science, which I completed at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany. I specialised in cultural theory and visual culture and spent an Erasmus semester at Université Bordeaux Montaigne in France. In addition, I hold a Yoga Alliance–approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, complemented by an additional 50 hours of training in meditation.

I am a 4th year medical student with a passion for teaching and mentoring. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable steps and adapting my teaching style to each learner’s needs. My aim is to help students feel confident and motivated. I achieved A*/As at GCSE and all A’s at A Level before entering the University of Leicester Medical School, where I am now a 4th year student. I have been tutoring since the age of 16, supporting students in a range of subjects and helping them reach their potential with tailored, engaging lessons.

Hi! I'm Amelia and I am a tutor for Biology, Psychology and Maths. I can teach Biology and Maths at GCSE and A-level standard and Psychology at A-level standard. I have experience with the AQA specification for Biology, Psychology and Maths GCSE and OCR for Maths A-level. I love to make lessons interactive and enjoyable for students while still making sure all core content is covered. I love students to ask questions and get involved with their learning, and will ensure I am fully engaged with all topics that the students hope to cover. My mission is to foster critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I focus on creating a student-centered environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to achieve their fullest potential. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I teach general mathematics and statistics with a focus on active participation and critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I mentor students, coach for competitions, and foster a growth mindset. My goal is to inspire curiosity and empower students.
