Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

I'm a second year Biomedical Science student at Queen Mary University of London with over two years of tutoring experience, mainly teaching GCSE Maths and Science. I also tutor A-Level Biology and Edexcel A-Level Maths, tailoring each lesson to suit the student's learning style and goals. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their potential in exams. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy expanding my knowledge of science and medicine, and I'm working towards a career in healthcare. I aim to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. My degree has strengthened my analytical, problem solving, and communication skills while reinforcing my passion for science and education. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed in exams. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to both Foundation and Higher tier students.
