Hi, my name is Tasadaq Ali. I am a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Sheffield. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in Chemistry and a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics. In my A-Levels, I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I enjoy teaching and I have been doing it for quite some time now. Even in University, I have volunteered to teach the younger years about Medicine and when it comes to online tutoring, I have had a good amount of experience when it comes to teaching GCSE content to students. I really enjoy getting to meet all the new people I have the privilege of teaching and in a way this job is very rewarding for me because I know just how much of an impact tutoring can have on not only a student's performance in their exams but also their confidence when it comes to various topics. Thank you :) For secondary school, I attended Ermysteds Grammar School in Skipton. The school required an 11+ exam for entry which I comfortably passed. During my GCSEs, although my year was the year in which COVID cancelled our exams, I was still able to walk away with a grade 9 in Chemistry, a grade 8 in Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Physics, a grade 7 in Geography and a grade 6 in English Language, English Literature, History and Design/Technology. I stayed at Ermysteds for sixth form to study for my A-Levels. In the end I achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. And as of now, I am in my third year of Medical School with hopes one day of becoming a Cardiologist.

Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to all year groups 7-11 in secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. My personal hobbies include reading and creating artwork in my free time. I look forward to helping you/your child with English and literacy skills! For secondary school I attended Carr Manor Community school, achieving GSCEs all grade 7 and above. I excelled in humanities subjects, with a grade 9 in both history and English language and a grade 8 in English literature. My academic passion carried on into my A levels which I completed at Notre Dame Catholic VI Form College. I achieved an A* in A level politics, A in A level history and a B in English literature. I have gone on to be accepted to study law at the University of Leeds, a Russell group university. I remain open to constantly improving my skills and developing new ones and therefore significantly look forward to tutoring new students, sharing my knowledge and developing my own.
