My name is Yasir, I am a dedicated and humble tutor specializing in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am a PhD Student, studying Computer Science (Informatik) at University of Zürich I teach Computer Science (GCSE, A-Level), Math (Year 7 - Year 11) as well as all the Major sciences; Chemistry, Phyiscs, Biology and Combined Science at GCSE level With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich, I have a genuine passion for teaching. I strive to simplify complex concepts and create an inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. My patient and friendly approach ensures that every student achieves comprehensive understanding. I have experience teaching prestigious UK boards such as AQA, OCR, and EdExcel, as well as providing guidance to Leaving Certificate students in the Irish school system. Outside of tutoring, I find joy in engaging with video games on PC, playing drums, guitar, traveling as well as playing football. Subsequently, I completed my M.Sc in Computer Science at Ozyegin University, Istanbul, in January 2023. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich. Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. My lessons are anything but “one-size-fits-all.” Every session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage outside-the-box thinking, and make learning genuinely enjoyable. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, and in October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, specialising in artificial intelligence, at the esteemed King's College London. With a strong academic foundation, I have discovered a true passion for teaching and find immense fulfilment in helping fellow students excel, particularly in subjects like Maths and Physics, which I thoroughly enjoy.
