As a tutor, I am able to customise my lessons to best support the needs of my students. I also taught in secondary schools as both cover teacher and teaching assistant, which allowed me to comprehend and adhere to lesson plans in order to support the classroom teacher and individual special needs students with day-to-day instruction and learning. Being trilingual (fluent in Bengali, Italian and English) languages have always been an integral part of my life, which gives me an advantage when communicating with my students. I am currently in my final year of studying Biomedical Engineering. I find maths and science fascinating subjects that encompass all aspects of our everyday life. I'm Ayushi, a passionate tutor with experience teaching Maths, English, Science, and Reasoning to students aged 11–18 at an established tutoring company (AE - Accelerated Education). I focus on building confidence, breaking down tricky topics, and creating a calm, supportive space where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve. Whether preparing for exams or boosting day-to-day understanding, I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and goals. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at Tiffin Girls’ School, one of the top grammar schools in the UK. I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and went on to study A-Levels in Maths, Economics, and Computer Science (all A grades), along with AS Levels in Further Maths and Physics. I’m now pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, a Russell Group university known for its strong economics faculty and industry connections. I’m on track to graduate with a First-Class Honours and have taken part in several academic and practical projects - including investment strategy simulations, environmental research, and financial modelling. My academic background has given me a deep understanding of how to break down complex topics, especially in Maths, Economics, and Computer Science, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence in subjects they may initially find challenging.

I aim to make learning enjoyable and stress-free by breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. My approach is patient and encouraging, aiming to help students feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their best and more while instilling confidence in their ways of thinking and problem-solving. I have completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and am now studying Biomedical Science, specialising in biology, chemistry and a certain level of maths as well. My studies emphasise critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on lab skills. Beyond academics, I have a strong background in teaching and mentoring. As a co-founder of our Sixth Form's first Medical Society, I guided my peers through everything needed to go through university applications, interviews for not only medical school but also related courses. I have continued this by mentoring first-year university students, helping them adjust to coursework and academic challenges, and personalising teaching methods for each student. My support has led to positive results, with the students excelling in assignments and finding my guidance invaluable.
