My name is Kriti, and I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Panjab University. After completing my post-graduation, I began my teaching journey as a PGT Chemistry teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school, where I worked for around 6 to 7 months. During this time, I gained valuable experience in teaching higher-grade students who were preparing for competitive and board-level examinations. My time there helped me develop strong classroom management skills and a deeper understanding of students’ academic needs at the senior secondary level. Following this, I joined BYJU’s as an academic tutor, where I conducted live online sessions for students across various curricula. These certifications have enabled me to gain a better understanding of the academic requirements and teaching methodologies suitable for students at the senior secondary level. In addition to these qualifications, I have also undertaken specialized professional development courses focused on international curricula. I have completed training programs specifically designed for the International Education Board (IEB), with a specialization in both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) Chemistry. Hi! I’m Kai, a fairly easy-going guy from London and I have been tutoring for just over 5 years and love every minute of it! I am here to help you ace your exams and provide that 'lightbulb' moment! Whichever way you learn best I will tailor my lessons to you. I tend to use many different resources depending on what suits your learning style, for example I usually incorporate diagrams and flowcharts to visualise some of the tricker concepts. I know when I was a student, having a tutor was a huge benefit to me as I was able to understand concepts from a different point of view. Away from tutoring, I am also a huge fan of football (Real Madrid of course!) and Athletics, mostly 100m and 200m sprinting and I previously represented both my County and Athletics Club several times at regional level.
