Hello! My name is Will and I am a Theology graduate of the University of Cambridge. I currently work as an accountant and live in London, but I love tutoring. I am currently available to help students with GCSE Maths and English as well as A-Level English. I have experience helping students at GCSE and A-Level, and applying to Cambridge. I attended Hessle High School and Sixth Form College for both my GCSEs and A-Levels. I took English Literature, History, and Classical Civilisations to A-Level and Maths to AS. After that, I went to study Classics at King's College, the University of Cambridge but switched after my first year to Theology. Currently, I am studying to be an ICAEW chartered accountant and hope to finish this in 2026!

I enjoy mathematics for its logical structure and the creativity involved in solving unfamiliar problems. As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand the underlying concepts rather than focus on memorisation, fostering an enjoyment of the subject, and boosting their confidence in their abilities. With a BSc in Mathematics from UCL, I have a strong background in the subject. Having achieved A* in both A-Level Maths and Further Maths, I am confident in explaining topics such as algebra, calculus, trigonometry, and logarithms. Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills. I think a lot of the attributes I have developed through roles and experiences I have had in life can help me achieve success both as a tutor and hopefully as a future Doctor. I am currently studying medicine at university and wish to become a paediatric surgeon in the future. I obtained my GCSEs at Lister Community School achieving 9 A*-A and 2 B's. I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A levels where I did Biology, Chemistry, Physics and AS level Mathematics. I am also familiar with the grammar school entry exams (11+) as I sat them myself as a child and have tutored kids for them in the past

I’m Joseph, a postgraduate Computing and Information Systems student at Queen Mary University of London with a background in Geography and Business. I specialise in helping students build confidence in Python programming, database management, and related areas. I take a supportive and structured approach, breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand and apply them I am currently studying for a part-time MSc in Computing and Information Systems at Queen Mary University of London, where I am developing strong skills in programming, database management, and information systems. Prior to this, I completed a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business at the University of Nottingham, which gave me a solid foundation in analytical thinking, research, and data interpretation. This blend of technical and business-focused education allows me to support students with both computing subjects and broader problem-solving skills.
