**SSH** Hi, I am Mandini. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and out of that, Mathematics is a subject that has a lot to teach and learn. I believe that there is a champ at math in every child and I would call myself a person who works very hard to bring up that champ in all my students. I have had the opportunity to tutor many young schoolers who found it difficult to grasp the subject but with my unique teaching techniques and robust lesson plans, I have successfully been able to show my students the right path to achieve a top grade in math. I am a highly organized and flexible tutor and I would confidently say that I have in-depth knowledge of the subject matter I teach. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting new students who want to explore the subject of mathematics and do...

Hi! I’m Asmaa, I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Biochemistry. I am passionate about all things science and motivated by the opportunity to help students understand and enjoy sciences and maths while gaining confidence in their abilities and achieving their academic goals. Both sciences and maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, full of complex processes and unfamiliar terminology, but I believe that these subjects become quite fascinating with the right support and guidance. My goal is to focus on breaking down challenging ideas into simple, manageable steps using visual tools, analogies, and real-life examples to bring the content to life. As a tutor, I take a student-centred approach, tailoring each lesson to your individual needs and learning styles. Whether you need help building strong foundations, mastering difficult topics, or improving exam technique, I adapt my teaching to support them effectively. I also place strong emphasis on exam-style questions and mark schemes, helping you gain confidence in applying your knowledge under timed conditions. If you are looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about science and maths, I would be delighted to support you in reaching your academic goals 😊. I graduated in July with an MSci in Biochemistry, achieving a 2:1. Prior to that, I completed my A-Levels in Chemistry (A), Maths (B), and Biology (C). I am confident in tutoring both GCSE and A-Levels, with previous tutoring experiences in science and maths.

Hi, I’m Ethan Brooks, an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics teacher. I’m passionate about helping students understand math in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable through interactive lessons, real-world applications, and step-by-step problem solving that build confidence and critical thinking skills. I have experience working with students of different learning levels, including learners with special educational needs. Outside the classroom, I enjoy solving puzzles and playing chess, activities that sharpen my analytical thinking and inspire creative approaches to teaching. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, effective teaching strategies, and classroom management. My academic training prepared me to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to learn and succeed.

My name is Mark Sean A. Manubag, and I hold a degree in Chemistry. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching and tutoring high school and college students, mainly in math, chemistry, and physics. I love making complex topics feel simple and approachable for learners at different levels. As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe in guiding students step by step until they feel confident in themselves. One of my strengths is breaking down difficult concepts into clear, relatable ideas. Seeing students progress—from struggling on quizzes to celebrating their own achievements—is what inspires me to teach. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I enjoy connecting lessons to real-life examples, whether through cooking, music, or everyday situations, so that learning feels both meaningful and fun. I’ve found that when students can relate to a topic, they learn faster and remember it longer. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, exploring different genres of music, and learning languages. At the moment, I’m studying Italian, which helps me stay in touch with the challenges of being a learner myself. That perspective allows me to connect more deeply with my students and encourage them to see learning as a lifelong skill. Teaching, for me, is about helping students discover their own potential. I want my learners to not only improve their grades but also develop the confidence and curiosity that will benefit them well beyond the classroom. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During my studies, I gained extensive training in laboratory instrumentation, including GCMS, FTIR, AAS, and UV-Vis, and completed internships with the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines, the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and the Philippine–Japan Active Carbon Corporation. My undergraduate thesis focused on the spectrophotometric determination of phenolics from plant extracts, which strengthened my background in analytical chemistry. After graduation, I successfully passed the Philippine Licensure Examination for Chemists in September 2014. Alongside my academic journey, I began working as a freelance tutor between 2012 and 2014, supporting high school and college students in mathematics, chemistry, and other sciences. Many of the students I taught came from institutions with advanced science and math programs, while others needed help building foundational understanding. Through one-on-one lessons, I developed a teaching approach that emphasized patience, step-by-step guidance, and real-life applications, helping students not only grasp concepts but also build confidence in their own abilities. This tutoring experience deepened my passion for education and showed me the impact of making complex topics simple and engaging. I take pride in seeing students’ progress—from struggling on exams to achieving strong results. Teaching continues to be a meaningful part of my career, complementing my professional work as a chemist by allowing me to share knowledge and inspire curiosity in the sciences.
