I am currently a student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I passed A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with an A,B,B respectively. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball and practicing my violin and piano. I've also participated many workshops to do with communication which has increased my public speaking and collaboration skills. For secondary school I attended King Edwards VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys. I left with 11 GCSE's with an 8 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and a 7 in English Literature and Language, French and Business. For Sixth Form I attended the University of Birmingham School for 2 years. I left with an A,B,B in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science respectively.

I am a final-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Wolverhampton with several years of tutoring experience working with KS2, KS3 and GCSE students in both Maths and English. I have supported students with a range of learning needs including ADHD, dyslexia and low confidence in core subjects. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and tailored to each student’s pace, focusing on building understanding step-by-step rather than memorisation alone. I regularly use exam-style questions, retrieval practice and interactive explanations to help students improve both confidence and grades. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy music, singing and content creation, which helps me bring creativity and strong communication skills into my lessons. I am currently a final-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Wolverhampton studying an IBMS-accredited degree. My studies have strengthened my skills in mathematics, biology, scientific writing, problem-solving and communication. Through university coursework, presentations and research projects, I have developed the ability to explain difficult topics in a clear and structured way. I achieved strong GCSE results, including an A in English and a B in Mathematics, and went on to complete A Levels before progressing to university. Alongside my studies, I have gained tutoring experience working with KS2, KS3 and GCSE students in Maths and English. I support students with exam preparation, homework help and improving confidence in subjects they may find challenging. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and tailored to the individual student’s pace and learning style. I focus on helping students understand concepts step-by-step while also developing independent problem-solving skills and confidence.

My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information.
