I am a university student currently studying for an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Philosophy. My A-Levels were in English Literature, Religious Studies/Philosophy, and Politics. I have a keen interest in all sorts of books and love reading! I have previous experience working with neurodiverse people and making education more accessible is something I am super passionate about. I am currently attending the University of York and am studying for a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Philosophy. I achieved three A-Levels in English Literature, Religious Studies/Philosophy, and Politics. My A-Levels were all at grade A or higher. I have 9 GCSEs and passed the 11+ exam. I also have significant experience in topics relating to radio, tv, film, and broadcasting as I have spent many years volunteering in these sectors.

Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily. Furthermore, I have also done mentoring before in school, where I was teaching maths to a GCSE student, and this also enabled my skills to improve and gave me more experience of teaching.

hi !! I’m Amelia and I’m currently studying Economics at UCL (which involves a lot of maths !!) and going into my second year. I tutor A-Level and GCSE Maths and my main aim is to help build students’ confidence in this important subject. I enjoy playing tennis, going to concerts and traveling. I am currently studying Economics at UCL and am about to go into my second year. I achieved strong results at GCSE including a grade 9 in Maths and Statistics. At A-level I achieved 3 A*’s, including Maths, Economics and History. Alongside my studies, I tutor GCSE and A-level Maths.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.
