Hi! I’m Regie Faith, a licensed Civil Engineer and TEFL-certified Math teacher. I enjoy teaching Math in simple and practical ways that make learning less intimidating, and I’ve worked with students of all ages both in class and online. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crocheting, reading, and playing board games, hobbies that keep me creative and patient in my lessons. I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Leyte State University and later earned a TEFL certification. I have over four years of classroom experience teaching Math to college students and one year of online tutoring for school-aged learners. I specialize in Mathematics at the primary and secondary levels, with strengths in simplifying concepts, exam preparation, and developing problem-solving confidence.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now! I love animals, board games and books, and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for my subjects. I have always been passionate about teaching Chemistry, Psychology, and Biology, and I have been tutoring these subjects for over a year. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students grow in confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment for subjects they once found challenging. To see young people’s interest grow as they begin to learn sciences for the first time and to help them build a better understanding of this is very rewarding. My goal is to continue helping students improve their grades by making learning engaging and accessible. When a subject feels difficult, it can be discouraging to persevere, which is why I strive to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. As a tutor, I believe in adapting my teaching approach to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that they find the subject both approachable and interesting. I have achieved 10 GCSEs, in which I received: a Grade 9 in Chemistry, a Grade 8 in Physics, Food Preparation and Nutrition and Geography. 3 Grade 7’s in Biology, Maths and German and 3 Grade 6’s in English Literature, English Language and Religion, Psychology and Ethics. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A in Chemistry, an A in Psychology, and an A in Biology.
