Hi! I’m Surabhi - I love helping students not just understand their subjects, but actually enjoy learning. I focus on building confidence, finding the right approach for each person, and making lessons engaging and interactive. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, no matter how small or silly they may sound :) Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, art and dance! All of which helps me bring a bit of creativity into our sessions. Over the course of my education, I have developed strong knowledge in Economics but even more in English Literature - a subject I am highly passionate about, alongside effective study strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others. There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I also rather love technology, and love using technology to learn and help others learn. Furthermore, I like talking to different people and I'm a good listener. I have acquired a level 5 TEFL qualification, certified by Qualifi. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. My Masters requires me to complete an original dissertation to be able to qualify and the findings of my dissertation are going to be published in a local journal later this year.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

My Name is teacher Nomi, I have been tutoring local students for almost 2 years now I assist students from as young as 6 years old and adults as well, I have been focusing on tutoring English and Business studies. I am very passionate about assisting students reach their learning goals, I create a comfortable learning environment for my students which makes it easier and fun to learn I have completed my national diploma in business management at Rosebank College South Africa and I have also obtained my 120 hours TEFL Certificate.
