As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I specialise in teaching algebra, calculus, and geometry, and I am always excited to take on new challenges. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. It was during this time that I realised the profound beauty and significance of mathematics in our everyday lives. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Data Science, a field that seamlessly blends mathematical principles with cutting-edge technology. This advanced degree equipped me with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of data, utilising mathematical models, algorithms, and statistical analysis to derive meaningful insights. My Master's program not only enhanced my mathematical prowess but also sharpened my ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios. My academic journey has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the elegance of mathematics and its practical relevance in solving complex problems. I am a graduate entry medical student with a deep passion for science, how the body works and the connection between different systems. When I'm not studying and learning, I love to read, play sims and watch Law and Order! As a tutor, I hope I can help inspire a love for science and help learning become as enjoyable as I find it! I'm currently in my first year of graduate entry medicine at King's College London Branch Campus. I attained a First Class in Biomedical Science from the University of Brighton. I received my A levels certifications in Bellerbys College Brighton in subjects Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I received a distinction in my IGCSEs at Greensprings School Lagos with subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have a certification from the Brighton and Sussex Virtual Work Experience and I have done an internship at Chevron Corporation Limited, Lagos. I am currently doing an online Pfizer virtual work experience in tandem with my degree.

I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.

About me: I am completing my Physics degree at the University of Manchester and used to compete in Physics and Astronomy competitions at school, which inspired me to pursue a career as a scientist. One of my hobbies is astronomy, especially stargazing and tracking meteors during meteor showers. Still, my true passion is to make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible and use science to make the world a slightly better place. Lower level: Mathematics, Science GCSE level: Mathematics, Physics A-level: Mathematics, Physics Higher level: Physics Programming languages: Python, C++, LaTeX SEN experience: I have worked with year 7&8 SEN students for a few weeks as part of my teaching internship, helping them with their Science lessons. Preferred age group: I don't have a preferred age group; I simply want to work with someone willing to put in the work and communicate openly about their struggles. Any additional languages: Bulgarian I am currently completing my Physics undergrad (preceded by a foundation year) at the University of Manchester. I graduated from one of the most elite high schools in my home country, which focused on Maths and Computer science. I used to compete in Physics and Astronomy competitions and olympiads, where I was one of the top-performing students. Before I studied Physics, I studied Architecture for two years at the same university - I wanted to try something different, since I love arts and see myself as a very creative person, but realised that science was my true passion and switched to Physics, where you find me now. I have worked several part-time jobs and completed several internships to support myself alongside my studies. These include an internship as a civil servant, part of the Government Operational Research Service, and the National Teaching Internship Programme, provided by the Department of Education. The teaching internship involved teaching GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics to students between years 7 and 12 in a few local schools and colleges. This experience helped me realise how much I enjoy teaching, fostering critical thinking skills in others, and guiding them towards discovering their passions. It also taught me how inclusive and expansive science can be and how crucial education is.
