Having achieved almost 100% in my A level and GCSE English Lit/Lang courses, my goal as a tutor is not only to improve your grades, but provide you with the techniques that beat the system. Hi! My name is Fariha Delwer and I’m a medical student at Queen’s University Belfast with a real enthusiasm for teaching and helping others learn. I have experience tutoring GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry, and I enjoy making tricky concepts simple and approachable. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether that’s building confidence in the basics or developing exam techniques for top grades. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to succeed. I am currently studying Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, where I continue to build on my strong academic background in science. At A-level I studied at Bancroft's doing Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and an EPQ, achieving top grades (A* A* A) that reflect my commitment and ability in these subjects. At GCSEs I went to Southend High School for Girls, where I achieved nine 9s. I’m a lively and creative tutor who makes learning English, English Literature, and Creative Writing exciting for students from elementary to Grade 12. I also teach elementary Geography and Biology, high school and introductory university Psychology, as well as high school Sociology. My lessons inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning engaging and fun! I completed my grade 12 high school diploma at Oaklands Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. I worked for several years as an educator at various schools in South Africa, teaching from grades 6 to 12. My subjects were English and Afrikaans at the senior level, and Biology and Geography at the elementary level. I am now completing my final year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in English and Psychology. I have also completed a certificate in The Principles of Human Resources.
