Hi, I’m Laureen Caitlin, a passionate Math tutor who loves helping students aged 11 - 18 build confidence and enjoy problem-solving. I love tutoring because guiding learners to understand complex ideas excites me. Outside teaching, I enjoy singing and exploring new hobbies. I hold a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics at Far Eastern University and a PhD in Educational Leadership at Unibersidad de Dagupan. I am a graduate from Bayes Business School with a passion for tutoring and education. After completing my O and A levels, I realized the importance of personalized academic support in making a smooth transition between educational stages. I firmly believe that having access to tailored tutoring during my own studies would have greatly enhanced my confidence and academic performance. Since the beginning my tutoring journey, I have worked with students ranging from KS2 to A-Level and university-level subjects, helping them not only understand challenging concepts but also build their confidence in learning. My teaching style balances formality with a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each student’s preferred learning style—whether visual, auditory, or hands-on. I strive to make learning engaging and interactive, ensuring that students look forward to lessons rather than viewing them as an extension of school. With over four years of professional tutoring experience, I have successfully guided students across various exam boards, including GCSEs, IGCSEs, AQA, EdExcel, WJEC, and OCR. Before university, I completed my O levels and A levels in Pakistan and did a Foundation course in Business and Economics with Accounting at INTO City, London. I also broadened my academic experience with a semester abroad at the University of Texas, Austin. My specializations lie in marketing, strategy, business communication, management, and business innovation. Through both my academic and professional experiences, I have developed a well-rounded skill set that positions me well for roles in marketing, business development, and strategic management.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I completed my O Levels with a strong focus on science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, followed by A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I am passionate about breaking down complex topics into digestible lessons and supporting students in building both competence and confidence in Physics.

My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles.
