I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning.
