Hi. I'm Ade, and I have been tutoring successfully for over 7 years now, with over 100 students (over 3 years on GoStudent with over 40 students), Grades 7 to 12, GCSE, and A-Levels. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Mathematics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do lots of practice. I specialize in building students skill and confidence in facing and solving problems. I'm pretty good at it because I am always learning new things myself, so I never forget what it's like be a semi-beginner, and I tend to relate very well with my students experience. This helps me communicate very effectively and support them unconditionally, all the while holding them to high expectations (based on their ability). Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

Hi! I'm Connor and I am studying Physics at university! At uni my favorite topic is space and galaxies. In my spare time I work on old cars and do astrophotography. I am dyslexic, so I understand that different people have different approaches to learning and that there is no single correct way to go about it! I enjoy learning and would like to share my passion with others :). I am currently attending the university of Liverpool studying Physics going into my third year of undergraduate study aiming to complete an integrated masters and hopefully move on to a PHD. so far over both year one and two I have averaged a first class degree whilst still maintaining my hobbies and a job on the weekends. After a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation and a Master's in Conference Interpreting, I have been learning languages for years now and, in 2019, I decided to pass on to my students the language acquisition techniques that helped me when learning French, Russian, Arabic, Basque and English. Here goes one: make the impossible to surround yourself with a Spanish or Hispanic environment (tutors, friends, relatives, news... > culture will boost your motivation to continue learning). I lived in Valencia, Donostia, Bilbao, Madrid and Huelva but I also lived in Bordeaux, Bergerac and Paris. I started teaching Spanish in the Spanish city of Vitoria (also known as the Basque Siberia) because I wanted to help the immigrants coming every year to start a new life in Spain. I found that the best way to help them was by teaching them Spanish so that they could communicate with others and build a brand-new life. In 2020, I started teaching and tutoring French and Spanish on digital learning platforms. Up until now, I have helped more than 90 people (all ages, students with SEND educational profiles, backgrounds and cultures) reach their goals onsite and online and have been translating, project managing and interpreting for 3 years!
