Hi! My name is Maxime, I'm a second year French/English Mechanical Engineering student at Cardiff University. I have a great love and appreciation for my studies, having been fascinated by all things mechanical from a very young age by working on my bikes, and more recently cars. The love for mechanics does not stop at the physical aspects, but also the maths and theory behind it which I would love to share!

Hello everyone! I'm Sheila and I'm excited to be your math teacher this year! Math can be challenging, but it's also a powerful tool for solving real-world problems and thinking critically. Together, we'll explore concepts, solve puzzles, and build skills that will serve you in countless ways. I’m here to make math fun, accessible, and rewarding, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish. Let’s dive in and discover the world of math together! I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. To keep parents and guardians involved, I communicate regularly through multiple channels and hold conferences as needed to discuss individual progress, aligning with school requirements and ensuring a collaborative approach to each student's development.

I'm Oscar, a mathematics tutor with an Integrated Master's in Mathematics (First Class honours) from the University of Bath. I am now based in Berlin and am currently completing a MSc in Mathematics at Freie Universität with a focus in graph theory and network science. I've been tutoring maths (and sometimes chess!) both online and in-person for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every moment of it; I like to focus on building a deep conceptual understanding for each student, rather than just simply teaching pattern-matching to exam questions. Tailoring the way I teach to the unique way in which each student learns is one of my favourite parts of getting to know a new student. I attended Ilkley Grammar School in West Yorkshire, England between the ages of 11-18. Here I attained 10 GCSEs (all A*s), 3 A-levels in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*) and English Literature (A*) alongside an AS-level in Physics (a). I then enrolled at the University of Bath in 2022 on an Integrated Master's course in mathematics, graduating in July 2026 with first class honours and a grade of 84% on my final year dissertation in Probability Theory. I am currently enrolled at Freie Universität and will be completing an MSc in Mathematics, specialising in Graph Theory and Network Science.

Hi, Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. I cam teach Art and Design GCSE students, particularly to give feedback on their portfolio. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I look forward to meet you, to work with you and helping with your studies! Merci beaucoup et a bientôt ! I've been living and studying in France most of my life until the age of 17 where I've moved to the UK to carry on my education in English. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!

My name is Ana and I am currently an Economics university student. I am interested in tutoring A-level Mathematics and Economics, as well as GCSE Mathematics. My tutoring approach is simple - learn, recall, repeat. I aim to implement active recall from previous topics in every lesson, whilst keeping them fun and engaging! I am currently a 2nd year Economics Student at Durham University, where I have achieved a 2:1 in my first year. I completed my A-levels in 2025 and achieved A*A*AA in Economics, EPQ, Mathematics and Biology respectively. Before this, I achieved 999999888 in my GCSEs in 2023, with a grade 9 in English Literature, a grade 8 in English Language and a grade 8 in Mathematics. I started off my tutoring experience by tutoring Romanian children how to speak English, as part of my volunteering section of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. After this, I tutored GCSE Mathematics privately. More recently, I have been part of the Zero Gravity scheme, where I tutored underrepresented Sixth Form students on the Economics University Application process.
