Hi! I'm Connor and I am studying Physics at university! At uni my favorite topic is space and galaxies. In my spare time I work on old cars and do astrophotography. I am dyslexic, so I understand that different people have different approaches to learning and that there is no single correct way to go about it! I enjoy learning and would like to share my passion with others :). I am currently attending the university of Liverpool studying Physics going into my third year of undergraduate study aiming to complete an integrated masters and hopefully move on to a PHD. so far over both year one and two I have averaged a first class degree whilst still maintaining my hobbies and a job on the weekends. I completed A levels in maths, further maths and physics.

I’m a mechanical engineering student who enjoys learning, staying active, and improving at things over time. Outside academics, I train Muay Thai and play squash, which keeps me disciplined and focused. I’m naturally curious, patient, and I like explaining ideas in a way that actually makes sense to people. I value consistency, good communication, and personal growth, both in and out of education. I try to bring a calm, supportive energy to everything I do, because people learn best when they feel comfortable and understood. With over four years of experience tutoring maths and science, I’ve developed a structured and results-driven approach that helps students build confidence and master exam technique. As an MPharm graduate currently completing my hospital training year, I bring a strong foundation in clinical reasoning and scientific analysis to my sessions. I also earned a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science and was awarded the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh for altruism. I’ve since graduated with an MPharm degree from the University of East Anglia and am currently completing my hospital training year as a trainee pharmacist. Hi! I'm Owen and I'm a graduate of Girton College at the University of Cambridge, where I read MA Modern and Medieval Languages and MPhil Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from 2018 to 2023. During my undergraduate I studied French and German, with a focus on historical and comparative linguistics and spent a year abroad at the University of Strasbourg, studying Russian, Dutch, and Swedish, alongside comparative linguistic research. Following my interests in Germanic philology, I stayed at Cambridge for my MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, continuing further study of Old Norse and Old English alongside a dissertation on Reflexives and Self in Old English, Old High German, and Old Saxon. Following graduation, I’ve taken up various professional, full-time roles in education consultancy, leading in-house support for personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews at hundreds of schools across the UK and around the world. I’ve delivered presentations on Oxbridge applications, preparation, and strategy to thousands of students and have designed and delivered training to help teachers at some of the UK’s top independent schools better support their own students with university applications. I’ve personally consulted with hundreds of students for (almost!) every subject at Oxbridge and have supported applicants across languages, linguistics, literature, ASNC, and history through the entire application process, from course, university, and college selection, to supercurricular engagement, admissions tests, personal statements, written work, and mock interviews. I’m also a British Council certified counsellor and have completed Russell Group certified training on supporting students to progress to competitive universities, as well as child protection training for tutors through the NSPCC. I particularly welcome interest from MML, Modern Languages, Linguistics, and ASNC applicants, although I tutor across the humanities. Outside of undergraduate preparation, I also work with postgraduate applicants to Russell Group universities, provide proofreading and editing for PhD theses and articles, and teach Old English and Old Norse to interested students.
