Hi there! I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor specialising in Mathematics and Physics across various educational levels including GCSE, A-Level, Nat5, and Higher. I also offer tutoring in maths and physics outside these specific curricula, tailored to individual learning needs and goals. My academic journey is fueled by a deep passion for both maths and physics, which drives me to continually expand my knowledge in these subjects. I spend a significant portion of my time studying and exploring new concepts and ideas, as well as engaging with programming languages such as Python, LaTeX, and Maxima, which complement and enhance my teaching capabilities. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively working towards achieving Grade 7 in Piano (ABRSM). I also attended the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, an experience that instilled in me a strong sense of leadership, resilience, and teamwork. I attended secondary school in northern England and I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics at A-Level. I then went to the University of Edinburgh to study a BSc in Mathematics. I now study an integrated masters in Physics with the aspiration to study a PhD in Mathematical Physics in a couple of years.

I am a medical student with A*AA at A-level, including an A* in Biology, and top GCSEs (all 9s in triple sciences, Geography, English Language, and RS). With 2 years of tutoring experience, I combine strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach, helping students not only achieve excellent results but also enjoy the learning process and grow in confidence. I attended Townley Grammar School and its Sixth Form, achieving 9999998877 at GCSE, with grade 9s in all Triple Sciences, English Language, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-level I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with an A* in Biology, and I am now studying Medicine at university. Alongside my studies, I have over 2 years’ experience tutoring GCSE English and Maths and mentoring students in Triple Science, supporting them as they prepared for exams. I also led my school’s Science Club, helping to inspire younger students and make science engaging beyond the classroom. In addition, I achieved a Bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad, reflecting both my academic ability and enthusiasm for learning. Hi! I’m Antrea, a Product Design Engineering student at Loughborough University with a strong passion for maths and problem-solving. I enjoy supporting GCSE students in building confidence, improving their skills, and reaching their full potential. My lessons are friendly, clear, and tailored to each student’s learning style, helping to make even the toughest topics feel more manageable. I’m committed to creating an encouraging environment where students can succeed and feel proud of their progress. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering at Loughborough University. I have graduated high school with a 19.9/20 Apolytyrion Certificate, in the following subjects: Maths, (Mechanics, A-Level) Physics, (A-Level), Design and Technology (A-Level), Geography (AS-Level) and Greek (Native, A-Level), Art, Craft and Design (A-Level). In all these subjects I achieved an A, with an A* in Art and Greek. Hi, I’m Maja! (Pronounced Maya). I’m an astrophysics postgrad and a qualified secondary school science teacher. I’ve been through the full rollercoaster of science education, from fighting my way through a master’s degree and emerging with first-class honours, to teaching Year 9s on a Friday afternoon who would rather be anywhere else. Now I help GCSE and A-Level students believe what I already know: you can do this. My goal is to make science feel understandable, interesting, and even a bit fun. When I’m not teaching, you'll find me hanging upside down on an aerial hoop, or writing stories inspired by science and folklore. I went to secondary school in Hungary, where I was initially more interested in the humanities, until I fell in love with space and modern physics. For my leaving qualifications, I completed Advanced Exams in Mathematics and Physics and achieved an A. At university, I completed an integrated Master of Physics degree at the University of Southampton. My first three years focused on general physics (including lab work, mechanics, quantum physics, solid state physics, and wave physics) with a few modules of astronomy. During my master’s year, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct research at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I studied the relationship between black holes and their host galaxies and wrote my thesis on this topic. I graduated with first-class honours in Astrophysics. After university, I felt drawn to education and wanted to help students grasp the beauty of science, so I completed a year of school-centred initial teacher training. I now hold a PGCE with QTS as a qualified science teacher.
