Hello! My name is Stephanie Mazambi and I’m in my second year at King’s College London studying Medicine. Alongside my academic, teaching students is a genuine passion of mine as I love to help students unlock their full potential and secure the grades they deserve. Guiding peers through the intricacies of academics has been my joy. From achieving stellar GCSE results, including 2x 7`s, 2x 9`s, and 5x 8`s, to securing an A in A-Level Biology, my journey has been marked by dedication to learning. Also, recently completing my A-levels, I understand how hard and frustrating preparation for exams can be and hope to be a helping hand to those who need it. Have previously been involved in Regional + National Lego Robotic Competitions and have mentored for students after. Currently, I am studying Medicine at King`s College London where biology and chemistry are still very valuable and I would be able to offer any advice to any prospective medical students. Hi, I'm Sumaya and I'm currently studying Biomedical Engineering and have a strong passion for maths and the sciences. I’ve done some tutoring in the past and really enjoy helping others build confidence and clarity in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I’ve just completed my second year studying Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London. For my A-levels, I chose Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. I’m passionate about science and enjoy helping others feel more confident and capable in these subjects.

I aim to make learning enjoyable and stress-free by breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. My approach is patient and encouraging, aiming to help students feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their best and more while instilling confidence in their ways of thinking and problem-solving. I have completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and am now studying Biomedical Science, specialising in biology, chemistry and a certain level of maths as well. My studies emphasise critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on lab skills. Beyond academics, I have a strong background in teaching and mentoring. As a co-founder of our Sixth Form's first Medical Society, I guided my peers through everything needed to go through university applications, interviews for not only medical school but also related courses. I have continued this by mentoring first-year university students, helping them adjust to coursework and academic challenges, and personalising teaching methods for each student. My support has led to positive results, with the students excelling in assignments and finding my guidance invaluable.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I take a personalised approach to each student's learning needs, tailoring my teaching style to their unique strengths and weaknesses. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I specialise in teaching algebra, calculus, and geometry, and I am always excited to take on new challenges. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. Exam Board Experience: Edexcel, AQA, OCR and SQA Languages: I am fluent in English and Urdu, and have conversational proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi. Preferred student age Group: Any(Primary, GCSE or A-Level) I hold a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, which has been the cornerstone of my journey into the world of numbers and problem-solving. My passion for mathematics was ignited during my undergraduate years, where I delved deep into mathematical theories, concepts, and applications. It was during this time that I realised the profound beauty and significance of mathematics in our everyday lives. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Data Science, a field that seamlessly blends mathematical principles with cutting-edge technology. This advanced degree equipped me with the knowledge and skills to harness the power of data, utilising mathematical models, algorithms, and statistical analysis to derive meaningful insights. My Master's program not only enhanced my mathematical prowess but also sharpened my ability to apply mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios. My academic journey has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the elegance of mathematics and its practical relevance in solving complex problems.
