Hi! I’m Maya Darvis, an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths and Science tutor I love helping students understand concepts clearly and confidently by making lessons engaging, interactive, and easy to follow. I simplify challenging topics using real-life examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step guidance. I believe every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement, and I always create a comfortable and motivating learning environment. Outside of teaching, I enjoy singing and watching K-dramas, which keep me creative and energized. I hold a Bachelor’s Honours degree in Chemistry and a TEFL certification, giving me a strong foundation in science, analytical thinking, and effective teaching strategies. With over two years of tutoring experience, I teach Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, adapting my lessons to different learning styles and levels. I am currently an undergraduate at Loughborough University studying Robotics Engineering. I am interested in satellites and fighter jets and mathematics is my favourite subject. I’m an athlete and love fitness, and have been an academic for the longest. I love research and solving very hard maths problems. I love music and everything in between My highest level of qualification is a levels where I studied Mathematics, Maths and Physics as well as taking AS chemistry in year 12. I also took my GCSE’s where I did mathematics and science and further maths gcse with grades ranging from 8-9. Currently I am doing a masters in Robotics, Mechatronics and Control engineering

Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is about enjoyment and practicality. I enjoy helping people succeed and ultimately seeing people become more confident within themselves. I have a honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Glasgow with a particular specialisation in applied mathematics and am currently working towards my second degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Stirling.
