Hi, I’m Amay I am currently an Accounting & Finance Undergraduate student Having a vast range of direct past experience both in tutoring and working with children, I am comfortable in such environments and am passionate about the teaching I do I like to make lessons enjoyable so that my students are always thoroughly engaged by using a variety of techniques to cater learning towards each individual student, I am very enthusiastic at this prospect and leveraging my subject knowledge and past experience to improve student's learning experience and helping them achieve to the best of their ability. On the whole, I myself have achieved A*/A in in my own GCSEs and A-levels and look forward to helping more students in improving their learning also. Alongside these, I have completed qualifications in statistics, financial studies, computer science and business.

I am a medical student with A*AA at A-level, including an A* in Biology, and top GCSEs (all 9s in triple sciences, Geography, English Language, and RS). With 2 years of tutoring experience, I combine strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach, helping students not only achieve excellent results but also enjoy the learning process and grow in confidence. I attended Townley Grammar School and its Sixth Form, achieving 9999998877 at GCSE, with grade 9s in all Triple Sciences, English Language, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-level I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with an A* in Biology, and I am now studying Medicine at university. Alongside my studies, I have over 2 years’ experience tutoring GCSE English and Maths and mentoring students in Triple Science, supporting them as they prepared for exams. I also led my school’s Science Club, helping to inspire younger students and make science engaging beyond the classroom. In addition, I achieved a Bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad, reflecting both my academic ability and enthusiasm for learning. Hi there! My name is Eve and I am currently a university student who loves learning, meeting new people and helping others. I’d describe myself as a fun and friendly person who’s always ready to laugh and I am here to make studying feel more enjoyable. I know that learning can feel intimidating or challenging, but I believe it’s all about finding the approach that works best for you. I’ve always been passionate about sport and the outdoors. Whether it’s playing football, skiing or going for a walk in nature, being active helps me stay positive, focused and motivated. I try to bring that same energy into tutoring — encouraging students to stay determined, celebrate progress, and see that every small step counts. When I’m not tutoring or being active, I love to listen to music, watching a good series and spending time with friends. I’m a big believer in work-life balance — working hard but also prioritising enjoying life and rest. I have always been passionate about learning and challenging myself academically. I have a strong academic background, having achieved 11 GCSEs and three A-levels in Biology, Geography, and Physical Education. These subjects allowed me to develop a deep understanding of how the human body functions, how we interact with the environment and the importance of health and well being — areas that continue to inspire me in day-to-day life. My A-levels built a strong foundation in scientific thinking, analysis and problem-solving, all of which I continue to apply in my current studies. I am now studying Sport Rehabilitation at university, a course that combines my love for sport, science and helping others. It has given me valuable insights into human anatomy, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques, as well as how physical activity supports both physical and mental health. Through my degree, I’ve learned not only the theory behind human biology and movement but also how to apply this knowledge in practical, real-world situations. My academic journey has taught me the importance of perseverance, curiosity, and maintaining a positive attitude toward learning. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far and I am excited to keep building on my knowledge. During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I look forward to extending this interesting mixture of fun and learning to my students and help the strike that oh-so-elusive balance between work and play so that they can become the best versions of themselves.
