I’m Enola - I’m a second year student at the University of Nottingham studying Economics but I’m originally from Folkestone, Kent! I have a strong background in maths and I’ve helped students at GCSE and A-Level feel more confident by focusing on understanding, rather than memorising. I love to read, do yoga and play tennis outside of my studies :) At the Folkestone School for Girls, I achieved 9999988888 at GCSE and took A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, History and French with an A in Maths. Currently, I’m studying BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham and am on track for a first. I’ve chosen to specialise in Econometrics modules, which is the maths/ statistics side of Economics. I have around 2 years of experience in tutoring. I tutored two GCSE students weekly for around a year in Maths and Science. I also did tutoring every week within school, running drop in sessions at lunchtime for year 7 - year 11 students.

When I finished that, I embarked on my educational journey, starting with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in the UK, in the University of Portsmouth.

Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC.
