Hi, I’m Stephen, a passionate and determined educator who loves learning and sharing that enthusiasm with others. I strive to create a learning space filled with curiosity and wonder, whether in literature or the sciences, helping students explore, question, and grow. Watching my students progress step by step and reach new heights is what drives me as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m a gamer, a photographer, and a farmer. Lately, I’ve also been diving into writing, exploring storytelling as another way to inspire and create. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology, majoring in microbiology. Throughout my studies, I had multiple opportunities to tutor others, which sparked my passion for education. Later, I branched out into teaching English to ESL students, where I found great fulfillment in helping learners grow in confidence and communication. Each year, my experience deepens, becoming more specialized as I refine my approach to teaching. I am also told to have a very easy going personality so I have a great rapport with my students and they find me easy to communicate with and ask me questions. Alongside my A-Levels, I have completed an EPQ in which I earned a B. The question of my research was about meditation, its benefits, and whether it should be made obligatory in school settings. It included investigating, collecting, and summarising primary data and as well as an initiation to implement meditation in my school as part of the well-being program. It gave good results and also spread awareness of this very beneficial practice. Other than that, I have attended courses on leadership as well.
