Hello, I’m Isabella, I’m 18 and currently studying Journalism at the University of Sheffield. I will be tutoring children to prepare them for the 11+ exams. I completed my A-levels at Hills road sixth form college where I studied English, History, Sociology and completed an EPQ. My hobbies consist of listening to music, reading, playing the violin and journaling. Welcome to my profile. I teach 11+, GCSE Science (physics, chemistry, and biology), and Mathematics. I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I look forward to beginning this journey with you. I have over 4 years (1000+ hours) of experience teaching these subjects: GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, and 11+. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A**) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. Hello! My name is Jhuzen, but you can call me Zen. I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over five years of experience specializing in Algebra and Geometry. I’m passionate about making math both accessible and enjoyable, and I always strive to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. I believe that with the right support, anyone can improve their math skills and gain confidence. I have a strong desire to travel the world and immerse myself in different cultures, learning from each place I visit. In my downtime, I enjoy watching a variety of videos and movies, especially ones that broaden my horizons or simply bring a bit of fun to my day. I hold a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, but my true passion lies in teaching mathematics. I feel entirely confident in this subject, and this is reflected in my ability to present complex concepts in a straightforward and highly effective way. Preferred student age group: Any I live in South Africa, I have a Masters degree in Chiropractic and I have 2 years of experience in helping students with academic writing. I enjoy watching health documentaries, movies, hanging out with friends and taking long walks at the beach. I am a qualified chiropractor, currently running my own practice in South Africa. I have a masters degree in Chiropractic, which I obtained from the Durban University of Technology. I am also a qualified online English teacher, I obtained my online teaching qualification from the TEFL Academy, UK.
