Hi, my name is Ruby. I’m currently a third year at Durham University, where I am studying Theology. I provide one-to-one tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Biology and History, and have two years of tutoring experience. Additionally, I have experience with mature students, if you are an adult looking to achieve GCSE or A-Level qualifications. I am pleased to say that all of my students have passed, achieving Grades 4/5 (C) and above in the academic years 2023-24 and 2024-25! I have developed a flexible teaching style that can cater to your/your child’s learning needs. I focus my teaching around two points: reinforcing content and refining exam technique. I will usually dedicate half of every lesson to each, depending on the student’s needs. Included in the price of a lesson are custom-made revision resources, as well as any marking outside of lesson time.
