Hi, I'm Leigh, and I have a strong background in Civil Engineering. I'm deeply passionate about this field because it beautifully combines creativity, problem-solving, and real-world applications to shape the world around us. But my love for learning doesn't stop there—I have a profound passion for teaching as well. I find immense joy in sharing knowledge, inspiring others, and helping them achieve their goals. My name is Liezle. I am currently pursuing a career in science as a trainee laboratory assistant within the biochemistry and chemistry fields. Additionally, I’ve run my own business, taught middle school in Asia, and for a few years exercised my creative muscle as a fashion assistant. Anything outdoor involving wine and food with a friend, or a lazy day at the ocean or hanging around in a shopping mall is a good day. I truly love science. I am passionate about learning new things and applying my knowledge to real-world problems. I am always eager to collaborate with others and contribute to the advancement of scientific research, testing and analytical thinking! I am a 3rd year student at the University of South Africa; I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry and chemistry. I have also gained valuable experience as a general science educator for a few years, where I taught students within intermediate phase, in the chemistry, physics and biology disciplines. I am also embarking on a one-year laboratory assistant trainee program.

Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills. I think a lot of the attributes I have developed through roles and experiences I have had in life can help me achieve success both as a tutor and hopefully as a future Doctor. I am currently studying medicine at university and wish to become a paediatric surgeon in the future. I obtained my GCSEs at Lister Community School achieving 9 A*-A and 2 B's. I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A levels where I did Biology, Chemistry, Physics and AS level Mathematics. I am also familiar with the grammar school entry exams (11+) as I sat them myself as a child and have tutored kids for them in the past

I'm Sila, an aspiring Chemistry student studying at University College London :) My main goal as a tutor is to get a firm understanding on my student's weak areas and plan lessons efficiently to help them as much as possible. I am dedicated to help tutees reach their full potential through the way that they learn and thrive the best! I am looking forward to meeting and helping everyone who's willing to boost their chemistry knowledge! I attended Buxton school and finished my GCSE's with grades 9 in Biology and Chemistry, an 8 in physics, and a 7 in maths. I studied my A levels at City of London Academy Southwark and achieved A,A,A in Biology, Chemistry and Business Studies. In my gap year I worked as a tutor teaching remotely and physically. The subjects I taught were Chemistry as well as Biology.
