Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that. Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I’ve been tutoring since 2020, and I’ve delivered over 400 online lessons through platforms like MyTutor and private tutoring. I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.
