Hi! I’m Amarachi, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Nottingham. I teach maths and chemistry, and I’m passionate about making these subjects engaging and easy to understand. As a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic tutor, I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and practicing taekwondo, and I always appreciate getting to know my students' interests as well. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Nottingham. At A level, I achieved grades A in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and at GCSE, I earned grades 8–9 in Triple Science, Maths, French and English Literature and Language. I have a strong understanding of the AQA, Pearson Edexcel, and OCR exam boards for both GCSE and A level.

I would describe my teaching style as engaging and adaptable I maintain an open stance towards feedback and novel ideas. I encourage my students to think beyond conventional boundaries, nurturing their unique style and thought paradigm. I strive to push them to present convincing and innovative points. However, I make lessons very practical; there is a science behind English and I can teach anybody how to improve because I know that. I am passionate about English because I believe it is an evergreen discipline. I love the theories and conversations that English illuminates and evokes in all its forms. Studying English language and literature was truly inspiring for me. My A level studies encompassed a multi-modal exploration, including speeches, plays, books, diaries, interviews, poems, comics, and blogs. This comprehensive exploration challenged me to grasp the nuanced aspects of communication, persuasion and emotion. Moreover, it granted me the opportunity to glean insights from numerous authors representing diverse cultural and historical backgrounds. Hence, I am a better communicator and empathetic person which shines through my teaching. Hi, I'm a second-year Aerospace Engineering student with a strong passion for Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Throughout my studies, I have developed a solid understanding of these subjects and enjoy helping students build confidence in areas they may find challenging. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and using real-world examples to make learning more engaging. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills. Whether you're preparing for exams, working through difficult topics, or looking to improve your overall understanding, I'm committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. I am currently entering the second year of my Aerospace Engineering degree at university, where I am developing advanced knowledge in mathematics, physics, engineering principles, and programming. Prior to university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, subjects which continue to form the foundation of my degree studies. Alongside my academic studies, I have a strong interest in problem-solving and analytical thinking. I was awarded a Bronze Certificate in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) competition and a Bronze Award in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO), demonstrating my ability to apply mathematical and physical concepts to challenging problems beyond the standard school curriculum. I currently tutor Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, helping students improve both their understanding and confidence.
