This helps them develop real understanding and the confidence to approach new topics independently. For younger students, I focus on making learning engaging and supportive so they feel comfortable participating. For older students, I emphasise exam technique, structured problem-solving, and strengthening any gaps in knowledge. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in Maths or Computer Science, my goal is always to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where progress feels achievable. I have a strong background in both Maths and Computer Science, and I have worked with students across a range of ages and learning styles. My experience includes tutoring primary, secondary, and adult learners, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts as well as their confidence in approaching challenging topics. I have supported students with curriculum learning, homework support, and exam preparation, particularly in Maths and Computer Science. Through tutoring, I’ve worked with learners who needed help strengthening foundations as well as students aiming to reach top grades. My experience across different age groups allows me to adjust my teaching approach depending on the student. For younger learners, I focus on building strong fundamentals and making lessons engaging. Computer scientist and Human-Computer Interaction researcher with interests in qualitative research. This has naturally led me down the path of sociology. Besides this, I am adept at tutoring GCSE Mathematics to bilingual students to help them achieve their goals. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form College. Here, I achieved an A in mathematics. I received an unconditional offer to study at the University of York, where I completed a BSc in Computer Systems. I specialised in Human-Computer Interaction, Qualitative Research methodologies, and User Experience research methods.
