I obtained A* GCSE grades and have 5 years of experience in tutoring. When it comes to teaching, I believe in making learning fun and engaging. Some of my hobbies include art, singing, gym and basketball. I also enjoy learning spanish and travelling. Since being at university I have also found new interests in cooking and watching football. I have qualifications in GCSE and A-level and am a current Medicine undergraduate. I have years of experience tutoring students of different levels and ages. I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.

Hi, I’m Jolene, a passionate and dedicated math teacher! I teach Algebra, Geometry, and General Mathematics, and I love helping students discover that math can be both understandable and enjoyable.
