Hi, I’m a Psychology undergraduate with A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals through clear, supportive, and engaging lessons. I offer tutoring for A-Level Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as GCSE Combined Science, Biology and Chemistry. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult concepts in a simple and relatable way. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. I am currently studying BSc Psychology at Aston university and have completed A-Levels in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. My studies have equipped me with strong analytical, research, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of scientific and psychological concepts. I am entering my third year of General Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specialising in Systems & Control. I tutor Maths and Physics and enjoy breaking own complex topics, into clear, simple steps. I have always loved helping others understand what I have learned, and I am passionate about creating a friendly, supportive learning space where students can build confidence and reach their goals. I am a dyslexia and autistic teacher with ADHD who, at 22, gained a 1st class honours degree in Contemporary Theatre and Performance degree from the University of Central Lancashire and have taught English as a Second Language in Shanghai, China for six months at the age of 23. For me, education is about personal engagement, experimenting with ideas and skills in a safe and supportive environment and challenging yourself against your previous performance. Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests, English language (specifically), and Geography. I can cover KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level (Biology and Chemistry) content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I also scored highly on the UKCAT/BMAT tests and am prepared to share my wisdom to tutees as I know what the problematic areas are and the best ways to tackle them. I am currently studying medicine and hence still very familiar with many of the concepts from A-level Biology and Chemistry, as much of what I study stems from knowledge acquired from GCSE and A-level Sciences. I am extremely enthusiastic about medicine, as the human body is one of my most profound fascinations, and I believe I can convey my enthusiasm for education through my lessons. In sixth form, I was a peer mentor and often had to help students struggling with their subjects, and so I have attained a plethora of knowledge on efficient methods to overcome revision and learning issues; furthermore, I am quite an active and independent learner and have trialled many different studying techniques in the past. Therefore, I can tailor my lessons to the tutee’s preferences, e.g., usage of more diagrams for visual learners and more verbal explanations for aural learners. I have the most experience tutoring mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, english, EPQ, UCAT/BMAT, school admission tests and reviewing personal statements for a variety of students at different levels, including KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-level and university level.
