Hi! I come from Spain and I was born in New York, although I have been living in England since the age of three. I am a creative and passionate person, with my hobbies including anything related to the arts, dance, and music. I also enjoy writing poetry and being in nature. It is important for me to socialize with friends and family, as I am very outgoing and open. I'm dedicated to my students and ensuring their success. I look forward to meeting with any student! Do not hesitate to approach me. I graduated from university with a degree in Art History and English Literature. I also have an MA in Applied Anthropology and Community Arts. I have 7+ years of international experience tutoring, both in person and online, with students of all ages and levels. I particularly enjoy teaching Spanish to English speakers and English to ESL students. I also excel at teaching literature, as it is a passion of mine. I can cater to examination prep, for various tests, including the Cambridge exam, the Leaving Certificate, GSCE, and IB higher level. I keep my classes fun and engaging while accommodating the student's needs with patience and understanding. I also have a very flexible schedule. I was born in London but raised in Barcelona, so I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick. I enjoy going on walks, visiting historical sites, meeting friends, swimming, reading, and writing. I did a Spanish Baccalaureate in Barcelone, at Colegi Montserrat de Vallvidrera. I chose the Science baccalaureate, which included Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as History, English, Spanish, Catalan and Philosophy. Currently I am obtaining by BCs in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick.

I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A**) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. I have a Masters in Creative Writing Oxford University. I've got a 2:1 from University of Sussex in Drama and Film Studies. I've worked with children ranging from 3 months to 18 years, in formal educational settings and at home. I have experience tutoring in English and Creative Writing at Secondary Level, helping students raise their grades one, two or three levels higher at GCSE and achieving top scores at A Level. I also have experience tutoring English, Creative Writing at a Primary Level as well as KS1 Maths.
