I am currently pursuing my bachelors in Economics at the University of Warwick. Academically, I have excelled in my examinations with 3 A*s and 1A in A Levels and 11A*s in my GCSEs. I have been tutoring for the past 5 years where I have taught students A Level, GCSE and IGCSE Maths and Economics in USA and UK, and am proud to say that I have boosted grades of each individual I have taught. For the past two years I have been teaching Economics and Maths through GoStudent. Pursuing Economics at the University of Warwick with three scholarships which are a testament to my academic excellence. I am an English and Spanish teacher who encourages students to think critically and creatively. I believe that students learn and develop at different rates and in different ways. In this regard, I have a strong desire to transmit the knowledge I have acquired through my experiences to students. In my free time I love doing horse riding and ceramics. I study Biomedical Science and am hoping to get into medical research and diagnostics soon! Apart from academics, I love rock music, gaming, reading and am a trained Indian Classical and Contemporary dancer! I am a third year Biomedical science student at Aston University and am hoping to get into medical research. At the moment I am completing my placement year in the NHS to gain registration as a biomedical scientist! At A-level, I studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. This fuels my enthusiasm when I teach, and I love sharing examples from my own work. Recently, I worked with TotalEnergies in France, exploring the valorization of desalination concentrate. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model. I'm passionate about science and STEM, and I strive to show my students how thrilling these subjects can be! My name is Karen, and I'm a dedicated tutor for maths and science. I've been tutoring for four years and hold a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry and Petrochemical Engineering. I achieved A*/A grades at GCSE in mathematics and physics, and an A in A-Level maths. I've always enjoyed school and hope to share that passion with my students! I teach A Level maths and physics, and I also specialize in chemistry, French, maths, and physics at Lower Level and GCSE levels. I have a C1 level in French, a favorite hobby of mine since I started lessons at six. Over the years, I've become very familiar with the content and perfected my teaching methods to ensure the best results, no matter the time frame. Teaching is a true passion for me.
