I have three degrees ; Masters in Mathematics, Bachelor in Mathematics (honours) and Bachelor in Education. Because of the love in the subject, I can't keep myself away from it. Hello all!! My name is Huma, and I am in my third year of MPharm. In my gap year after A-Levels, I volunteered at St Peter’s Hospital. I worked with patients, where I helped them work through their worries and concerns. I also was a lunchtime aid, where I helped patients who struggled with their eating. I have connections with successful medical school applicants, and have personal experience with the UCAT, as well as tips when it comes to acing it. I also know students in architecture, engineering and dentistry. I aim to make my sessions as specific to you as possible, helping you truly understand the content and help you fall in love with the subject. My sessions are not only educational, they're also packed full of teaching and exam questions! Hi! My name is Mariyah, a friendly and dedicated Maths tutor currently on my gap year after completing my A-levels. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in both GCSE Maths and 11+ preparation. Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC. These subjects have strengthened my critical thinking skills, making me have a deeper appreciation for how much we use these subjects every day. Having done the exams, I understand the struggles the students face and how to support them.

I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years.
