Hi, I’m Maja! (Pronounced Maya). I’m an astrophysics graduate and a qualified secondary school science teacher. I’ve been through the full rollercoaster of science education, from fighting my way through a master’s degree and emerging with first-class honours, to teaching Year 9s on a Friday afternoon who would rather be anywhere else. Now I help GCSE and A-Level students believe what I already know: you can do this. My goal is to make science feel understandable, interesting, and even a bit fun. When I’m not teaching, you'll find me hanging upside down on an aerial hoop, or writing stories inspired by science and folklore. I went to secondary school in Hungary, where I was initially more interested in the humanities, until I fell in love with space and modern physics. For my leaving qualifications, I completed Advanced Exams in Mathematics and Physics and achieved an A. At university, I completed an integrated Master of Physics degree at the University of Southampton. My first three years focused on general physics (including lab work, mechanics, quantum physics, solid state physics, and wave physics) with a few modules of astronomy. During my master’s year, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct research at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I studied the relationship between black holes and their host galaxies and wrote my thesis on this topic. I graduated with first-class honours in Astrophysics. After university, I felt drawn to education and wanted to help students grasp the beauty of science, so I completed a year of school-centred initial teacher training. I now hold a PGCE with QTS as a qualified science teacher.

Hello!! My name is Malobi. I am an 18 year old univeristy student currently studying computer engineering at the university of Birmingham. I have completed my A levels recently during the 2026 summer period where I am pleased to say that I have acheived an A in my computer science A level exam. My experience in teaching includes taking part in maths mentoring during year 12 where I would teach GCSE students who in particular were stuggling, I taught at a coding camp called code ninjas for children ranging from the ages between 7-14, and I have partken in the peer educator programme in my sixth form where I would teach the year 7s from my school lifeskills. With this experience, I feel like I know the suitable teaching methods specific to your childs learning style, meaning I can adjust to different tutees, making me a sutiable tutor for your child :) I have previously completed my GCSEs in 2024 and have recently completed my a levels in 2026. I have acheived a 7 in computer science GCSE as well as a 7 in maths GCSE. For my a levels I have acheived an A in a level computer science while acheiving a B in a level maths. I am now curretly a 1st year student in the University of Birmingham studying computer engineering.

I am tutoring in Sociology and Religious Studies. I am currently studying for a BA in Sociology at the University of Warwick. I provide a flexible teaching style where everything is tailored to you. I am the welfare officer for Warwick STAR and I also have experience volunteering at primary and secondary schools and youth clubs. I have achieved a grade 4-9 in all of my GCSE'S. At college I studied criminology and sociology and I am now studying for a ba in Sociology at the University of Warwick. Additional courses that I have completed are 'thrive' and a Level 2 in 'Understanding Children and Young People'

Hi, I'm a second-year Aerospace Engineering student with a strong passion for Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. Throughout my studies, I have developed a solid understanding of these subjects and enjoy helping students build confidence in areas they may find challenging. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and using real-world examples to make learning more engaging. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills. Whether you're preparing for exams, working through difficult topics, or looking to improve your overall understanding, I'm committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. I am currently entering the second year of my Aerospace Engineering degree at university, where I am developing advanced knowledge in mathematics, physics, engineering principles, and programming. Prior to university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, subjects which continue to form the foundation of my degree studies. Alongside my academic studies, I have a strong interest in problem-solving and analytical thinking. I was awarded a Bronze Certificate in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) competition and a Bronze Award in the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO), demonstrating my ability to apply mathematical and physical concepts to challenging problems beyond the standard school curriculum. I currently tutor Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, helping students improve both their understanding and confidence. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable steps, using worked examples and real-world applications to make learning more engaging. As a current engineering student, I am able to show students how the topics they study are applied in higher education and industry.
