I studied at Barnard Castle School, achieving an A* in A-Level Maths alongside studying Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I also earned A** in both GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths. My time there built strong problem-solving skills and academic discipline.

Hi! I'm Pia. The subject I teach is Mathematics at GCSE level and also GCSE Biology. I understand that maths and biology can present difficult challenges and having received tutoring for both subjects, it has really helped me to understand and enjoy the subjects a lot. I hope to be able to help other students develop their confidence and learn to enjoy maths and biology too! I completed 9 GCSEs, including an A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry and also completed my A-levels with an A in Maths and Biology and B in Chemistry. I am currently studying Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. I'm Klersa, I am studying Neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. I studied biology, chemistry and physics at A level and I obtained A*AA. I enjoy tutoring and helping students improve their understanding of the subjects they struggle with, by personalising my teaching method to their needs. I think students can grow to love science subjects with the right help! I teach biology, physics, chemistry, and science at GCSE level and biology and chemistry at A level. I have experience with AQA, OCR A, and Edexcel exam boards. In my free time I enjoy hiking, attending live music and theatre events and reading books! I am an undergrad student at the University of Edinburgh. I study Neuroscience, which involves a lot of chemistry and biology. I hold A-level qualifications in physics, biology and chemistry with grades A*AA, demonstrating a strong knowledge of these subjects. My A-level results reflect my dedication to academic excellence and my passion for sciences as well as a strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving. During my A levels I carried out multiple presentations, explaining key topics to my fellow classmates as part of a flipped learning program, favourable ones being on explaining intricate biological processes, such as the propagation of action potentials through synapses, amongst others.
