I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth

I’m someone who really enjoys learning and helping others do the same. I’m patient, reliable, and always happy to explain things in a way that makes sense. I like creating a relaxed, no-pressure vibe where people feel comfortable asking questions. Whether it’s going over the basics or tackling trickier topics, I’m here to help and make things easier to understand. I successfully completed my A Levels with excellent grades, particularly in science subjects, which sparked my interest in healthcare. I am currently a first-year dental student, pursuing my studies with a strong foundation in academic excellence and a passion for oral health and patient care.

I'm Tilly, and I'm a second-year medical student at Oxford University. I have been tutoring for over three years now and love helping students in maths, science and for medical school admissions tests. I hope to be a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic tutor assisting students in their learning by helping them both understand topics deeply and enjoy their learning as much as possible. I studied at Putney High School, where I achieved all 9s at GCSE and A* in biology, chemistry, maths, and my EPQ. However, I am now a second-year medical student at Oxford University. Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a Master's graduate in Physics and currently undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics while working as a postgraduate teaching assistant. I know through experience how difficult physics and maths can be and am in a position to help students by breaking topics down into manageable components. In summer 2025 I graduated with a first class master's degree in physics with astrophysics and cosmology. I began a PhD in astrophysics in October 2025 and have been working as a teaching assistant since then for varied courses in physics from master's level computer labs to first-year mathematics.
