Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.

My name is Aarushi and I am a MEng Aerospace Electronic Engineering student at University of Southampton with over 5 years of tutoring experience in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I love making tricky topics click for others and bring energy, curiosity, and the occasional space fact to every lesson! I graduated with a First Class Honours in my undergraduate studies in Aerospace Electronic Engineering, during which I was honoured with accolades including the National AI and Robotics Student of the Year award and the prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills. I think a lot of the attributes I have developed through roles and experiences I have had in life can help me achieve success both as a tutor and hopefully as a future Doctor.
