Hi! My name is sharmin, I am currently studying Medicine in Manchester and have worked with students of a wide range of ages and requirements. I personally thrive off learning and am a dedicated tutor who understands how important it is to provide students with unique and tailored support to help them not only achieve their study goals but also actively enjoy the learning process. Having faced my own challenging exams, I know what is needed to build up strong study habits and maintain motivation especially when encountering complex study concepts. I am currently about to enter my third year of degree in Medicine at the University of Manchester where I have built up a strong understanding of the sciences particularly Chemistry and Biology as well as application skills. I completed my GCSEs and A levels in Greater Manchester as well with the latter being during the COVID pandemic. In my degree I have spent a lot of time as a peer tutor to people in my class and students in the years of the degree below me in teaching societies. Alongside this I have also tutored students in English Language and Literature GCSE previously as I have always enjoyed the subject and volunteered as a tutor for students in Year 5-6 looking for additional support in their SATs exams.

I'm a fun and active individual that likes sports and other physical activities. Just started my second year in my degree apprenticeship in data science with Airbus UK and some of my favourite hobbies include: Basketball, Cricket, movies, travelling and gaming. Attended Broughton Fields primary school when I first moved to the UK in 2011, and then went on to complete my GCSEs and A levels at Oakgrove Secondary School in Milton Keynes. Achieving high grades in both GCSEs and A levels, having done IT, Business and Mathematics in A levels.

I'm deeply passionate about this field because it beautifully combines creativity, problem-solving, and real-world applications to shape the world around us. But my love for learning doesn't stop there—I have a profound passion for teaching as well. I find immense joy in sharing knowledge, inspiring others, and helping them achieve their goals. Whether I'm explaining technical concepts or mentoring aspiring learners, teaching allows me to connect with people and make a positive impact in their lives. I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from elementary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I am passionate about helping students learn and committed to providing them with the best possible education. I am proficient in English I hold a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mathematics & Computer Science with Honors.
