Hi! I am a newly graduated Doctor with around 10 years of tutoring experience with students aged 7-15 as well as teaching in my OSCE society at University. I regularly keep parents updated and give tutees homework after each session as questions are the best way to consolodate their learning. About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. My objective is to create an unstressful atmosphere and relationship with my student, for him to be ready to talk and try, and even do mistake if need so. Mistake are important for learning, but too much students are afraid to do some. I encouraged them to try, and to understand that mistakes are a necessity in the learning process.
