Hi! I’m a second-year Geography student at the University of Birmingham with a genuine passion for helping students unlock their full potential. Although I was initially predicted CCD at A-level, I achieved AAB on results day, something I’m incredibly proud of. This experience has shaped the way I tutor. I understand what it feels like to doubt your ability, and more importantly, I know exactly how to turn things around. My goal is to help my students achieve the same transformation or even better! I have over a year of tutoring experience, and I truly find it one of the most rewarding things I do. Seeing students grow in confidence and improve their grades is why I love teaching. Hello there! My name is Chanel, and I am a Chemistry graduate from the University of Liverpool with a professional background in Research & Development. Alongside my academic history, I have experience tutoring young people as a volunteer peer mentor. I have also supported young adults with SEMH needs, Autism and ADHD, which has helped me develop a patient and supportive approach when working with different learning styles. I am passionate about making STEM fun and accessible by breaking down complex topics into simple and relatable ideas. After extensive experience in organic chemistry, chemical formulation, research skills, and data analysis I have transitioned into working with children and young people full time.
