I'm Tilly, and I'm a second-year medical student at Oxford University. I have been tutoring for over three years now and love helping students in maths, science and for medical school admissions tests. I hope to be a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic tutor assisting students in their learning by helping them both understand topics deeply and enjoy their learning as much as possible. I studied at Putney High School, where I achieved all 9s at GCSE and A* in biology, chemistry, maths, and my EPQ. However, I am now a second-year medical student at Oxford University. Hi, I’m Kate Stevens, an enthusiastic and dedicated science teacher! I love helping students explore the world of science in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning science exciting through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, and stimulating problem-solving activities that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, reading science articles, and experimenting with new ideas, which keeps my mind curious and creative. I graduated with a degree in Master of Arts in Teaching- Biology Education, where I gained a strong foundation in scientific concepts, teaching strategies, and classroom management. With 2 years of face-to-face teaching experience, I have designed and delivered engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and interactive activities that cater to diverse learning styles. I strive to create a supportive, motivating classroom environment that encourages every student to develop critical thinking, curiosity, and a lifelong love of science while achieving their full potential.

I am tutoring in Sociology and Religious Studies. I am currently studying for a BA in Sociology at the University of Warwick. I provide a flexible teaching style where everything is tailored to you. I am the welfare officer for Warwick STAR and I also have experience volunteering at primary and secondary schools and youth clubs. I have achieved a grade 4-9 in all of my GCSE'S. At college I studied criminology and sociology and I am now studying for a ba in Sociology at the University of Warwick. Additional courses that I have completed are 'thrive' and a Level 2 in 'Understanding Children and Young People'

I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! I look forward to extending this interesting mixture of fun and learning to my students and help the strike that oh-so-elusive balance between work and play so that they can become the best versions of themselves.
