Before this, I completed my GCSEs at Northgate High School in Ipswich where I achieved grade 9 in 5 subjects (including Maths), grade 8 in 4 subjects and grade 6 in 1 subject. My strengths are in Maths and the sciences. I am also musically trained having achieved a grade 8 merit on the piano from Trinity College London, a grade 5 distinction on music theory from ABRSM and a grade 9 in Music GCSE.

I’m a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I teach both Maths and Computer Science across a range of levels, from early primary all the way up to GCSE, I adapt each lesson to how the student learns best. My teaching style focuses on breaking concepts down into simple, clear steps. I like to make lessons interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and think through problems rather than just memorising answers. This helps them develop real understanding and the confidence to approach new topics independently. I'm a first year medical student in London dedicated to teaching my students how to engage with their learning and achieve their academic goals. I tutor for GCSE Maths and Science for a variety of exam boards, such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. As a full time student, I empathise with the difficulties students may encounter while navigating their chosen subjects of study. Having achieved 9-9-9-8 in my GCSEs three years ago, I am certain that I can enable my students to approach their learning with confidence. My first priority as a tutor is making my students feel comfortable with topics they feel are the most daunting, so they can eventually progress to tackling unfamiliar scenarios in questions. I teach using a wide variety of learning techniques, so that my students can explore what works best for them. Some include utilisation of past exam questions, recaps of previous lessons and whiteboard interactivity to reinforce my students' learning. I'm currently studying at UCl in its Medical School for the Medicine MBBS BSc degree. I achieved A*AA in my A Levels in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I achieved 9-9-9-8 in Triple Science Higher and Maths. I attended grammar school for the entirety of my school experience.
