Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! Hello! I'm Fintan, I'm a 2nd year student at Cardiff University studying Financial Mathematics (BSc) - Primarily a further development into the field of Maths, with some time spent learning about Corporate management and Investment Management. My teaching approach focuses on consolidating knowledge and encouraging critical thinking. To excel in A-Level Maths, it is important to not only know the content, but for it to feel like second nature, so that when it comes to higher level questions, you can identify and apply the methods confidently.
