Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies and Educational Science, which I completed at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany. I specialised in cultural theory and visual culture and spent an Erasmus semester at Université Bordeaux Montaigne in France. In addition, I hold a Yoga Alliance–approved 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate, complemented by an additional 50 hours of training in meditation.

Hi! I'm Amelia and I am a tutor for Biology, Psychology and Maths. I can teach Biology and Maths at GCSE and A-level standard and Psychology at A-level standard. I have experience with the AQA specification for Biology, Psychology and Maths GCSE and OCR for Maths A-level. I love to make lessons interactive and enjoyable for students while still making sure all core content is covered. I love students to ask questions and get involved with their learning, and will ensure I am fully engaged with all topics that the students hope to cover. Hi! I’m Regie Faith, a licensed Civil Engineer and TEFL-certified Math teacher. I enjoy teaching Math in simple and practical ways that make learning less intimidating, and I’ve worked with students of all ages both in class and online. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crocheting, reading, and playing board games, hobbies that keep me creative and patient in my lessons. I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Leyte State University and later earned a TEFL certification. I have over four years of classroom experience teaching Math to college students and one year of online tutoring for school-aged learners. I specialize in Mathematics at the primary and secondary levels, with strengths in simplifying concepts, exam preparation, and developing problem-solving confidence.

I am glad that I now have a one year of GoStudent experience with over a thousand completed sessions, consequently, I know what it takes for a student to be interested in an online session and how make him/her feel welcomed and non-hesitant about asking any question that comes to mind. I successfully completed my A-levels back in 2018, and I'm currently a mechanical engineering student in university, aiming to gain simultaneous work experience in both engineering and online tutoring. My academic background includes a strong foundation in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Additionally, I have pursued specialized coursework in engineering principles and mechanical systems, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the field.
