I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. Hi! I’m Ranie Pornela, a passionate Math teacher I love helping students understand and enjoy mathematics by connecting lessons to real-life situations and practical applications. My goal is to make math clear, engaging, and useful through step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and hands-on problem solving. I want every student to feel more confident and actually enjoy doing math after our lessons. Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching movies, traveling to new places, and spending time with my dogs—they’re my favorite way to relax and recharge! I am a Licensed Mechanical Engineer and currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management. I also hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. With my engineering background and teaching experience, I am able to explain complex math concepts in a clear, patient, and student-friendly way, helping learners build both understanding and confidence

Hello! My name is Erin, I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Birmingham. As a tutor, my main aim is to quickly determine a students weaknesses, then create a dedicated study plan to help them improve in those areas. I believe that active recall, spaced repetition, and lots and lots of past paper questions - are the key to success! I am well versed in tutoring students of all ages; I have tutored various students ranging from ages 6 to 16 in a variety of different settings. I am also experienced in entrance exam tutoring. Having sat several entrance exams over my lifetime, I understand how to make a study plan that is both time efficient and effective, and how to utilise this study plan effectively. I have previously mentored students who wish to study medicine through UCAS, entrance exam and interview preparation; several of them currently study at top universities, including Oxford and Cambridge! In my spare time, I am a highly creative person - I frequently attend dance classes, I music direct/conduct my university choir, and I scrapbook! I also love to read :) Currently attending the University of Birmingham Medical School - 1st year, Medicine. Attended a top London Grammar school; where I achieved 10 A*s (Grades 8-9) at GCSE level, and 3 As at A level in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. In addition to educational qualifications, I also study the piano; I have completed my Grade 8 and am currently working towards my diploma in Music Performance!
