Hi, I'm Leon, I teach GCSE and A level Maths and took Maths. I have got plenty of experience tutoring and since I have finished school, not too long ago, and am very familiar with the specification. I can relate and address common struggles more easily as I am more aware of how students learn and will apply a more enthusiastic and ground up approach to make sure my students understand the content more thoroughly giving them a better chance at gaining a higher understanding and passing their exams. My educational journey started at Ilford county high grammar school getting As and A*s at GCSE then moving to NCS sixth form one of the highest performing sixth forms in England getting A*AA in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. Hi! I am a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in Biology A-level/ GCSE, and Chemistry GCSE. I achieved A* AA in these subjects at A level and have experience tutoring students within school. I studied AQA exam boards for Biology and Chemistry, and Edexcel for Maths. My sessions will focus on building confidence and understanding by using past exam questions as examples to highlight key concepts and how to approach them during exams. During the sessions, we will work through topics that you may struggle on together and practice with exam-style questions so you’re fully prepared. The topics we cover will be completely led by you, so that you get the most out of our time together. I am flexible in my teaching style, so if you learn better other ways, for example mind maps, I am more than happy to do this. Between sessions, I will set small tailored tasks to reinforce what we have covered and help revision, which we will then review together. I’m currently studying Podiatry at university, a healthcare course that combines my love of science with practical, real-world applications. I enjoy how it brings together anatomy, problem-solving, and patient care in a meaningful way. I’ve also tutored friends and family in a range of subjects, particularly in science and maths.
