My teaching experience spans both primary and secondary levels, where I have refined my ability to present complex mathematical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

Hi - my name is Raghav. One my greatest passions is cooking. Having achieved the highest score in the country for OCR GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, I have started to teach younger students different cooking techniques. This requires patience, determination and resilience; skills I believe I possess and am ready to use in tutoring! I attended King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford and have recently completed my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Computer Science (predicted 4 A*s). I also completed my GCSEs at this school and achieved 14 Grade 9s (Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, Geography, Food Preparation and Nutrition, Religious Studies, Statistics, French, Hinduism) and an A (highest grade) in FSMQ. I have been a mentor at my school for GCSE Maths and Economics and have helped students improve their grade by 3 levels in the past. I am very confident in my ability to teach students successfully!
