I am an energetic, passionate young academic with a Bachelors in Arts and an ongoing Masters in Literature, Languages and Cultures department. I have been tutoring for 3 years now and have experience in language tutorship. With my passion for English language and literature, I am sure I could assist any student on the path towards their goals! With over four years of experience tutoring maths and science, I’ve developed a structured and results-driven approach that helps students build confidence and master exam technique. As an MPharm graduate currently completing my hospital training year, I bring a strong foundation in clinical reasoning and scientific analysis to my sessions. I began my academic journey at John Ruskin College, where I completed A levels in Chemistry and Biology, alongside GCSEs in English and Maths. I also earned a BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science and was awarded the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh for altruism. I’ve since graduated with an MPharm degree from the University of East Anglia and am currently completing my hospital training year as a trainee pharmacist. This clinical experience has strengthened my analytical thinking and deepened my understanding of scientific principles—skills I bring into every tutoring session. My name is Liezle. I am currently pursuing a career in science as a trainee laboratory assistant within the biochemistry and chemistry fields. Additionally, I’ve run my own business, taught middle school in Asia, and for a few years exercised my creative muscle as a fashion assistant. Anything outdoor involving wine and food with a friend, or a lazy day at the ocean or hanging around in a shopping mall is a good day. I truly love science. I am passionate about learning new things and applying my knowledge to real-world problems. I am always eager to collaborate with others and contribute to the advancement of scientific research, testing and analytical thinking! I am a 3rd year student at the University of South Africa; I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry and chemistry. I have also gained valuable experience as a general science educator for a few years, where I taught students within intermediate phase, in the chemistry, physics and biology disciplines. I am also embarking on a one-year laboratory assistant trainee program.

I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.
