I am an energetic, passionate young academic with a Bachelors in Arts and an ongoing Masters in Literature, Languages and Cultures department. I have been tutoring for 3 years now and have experience in language tutorship. With my passion for English language and literature, I am sure I could assist any student on the path towards their goals! Hi, I'm Toluwa! I am currently in dental school. I enjoy teaching the sciences and maths up to GCSE level, as well as A-level Biology and Chemistry. I really enjoy staying active through netball and gym, and I also love to cook and travel in my free time. I look forward to teaching KS1-2 Maths and Science 11+ GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Combined Science/Trilogy included) I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at top grammar schools, and I was able to achieve A* in Biology, A in Chemistry, and B in Mathematics at A-level. I am now studying Dental Medicine at university, where I continue to build on my strong science background.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

My name is Jillian Rowe, and I am a passionate Mathematics Teacher who finds true joy in teaching. I love teaching because it deeply satisfies me to be part of my students’ success, and it is very rewarding to witness their growth and achievements. I teach Mathematics to learners of any age, and my mission is to make the subject more approachable and less intimidating. I also live by the belief of working hard until I reach success, a mindset I encourage my students to adopt as well. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading inspirational books, singing, jogging, and walking, which keep me motivated and balanced in both life and work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education, Major in Instructional Leadership, at Pangasinan State University, where I have consistently maintained excellent grades. I previously graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, at John Paul College, which gave me a solid foundation in teaching and learning. Alongside my formal teaching career, I have extensive experience in tutoring students of different ages, including a 5-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 17-year-old, in both English and Mathematics. I also have meaningful experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN), ensuring that I provide inclusive and supportive learning tailored to each learner’s needs.
