I am currently a registered full-time student at STADIO Higher Education pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching (NQF 7). I completed a 120 Hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate from TEFL Universal , providing me with strong practical skills for teaching English as a foreign language to all ages. I hold Provisional Registration as a Student Teacher. My training covers lesson planning, classroom management, student development , and specialized English areas like free talk, daily talk, travel English, reading, and phonics. I am committed to ongoing professional growth so I can provide the most effective, motivating, and high-quality lessons to every student.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

My name is Mashika, and I am a civil engineer and a have also worked as a middle school and high school teacher at Villa Grimani International School. I have a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering that I am currently pursuing. Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn. This has truly shaped my teaching style which involves alot of interactive discussions and problem solving which in turn leads to increased self confidence and reasoning ability in students.
