My name is Maria Bazhenova, I am originally Russian but I live in Switzerland and go to university in England, Durham University to be specific! I can speak four languages: English, Russian, French and Italian. I have been playing tennis my whole life and love exploring new places! I attended a school in Switzerland where I studied the International Baccalaureate (IB) and completed it and earned the diploma. I then did a one year course at a university business school in London which I received a first class standing in. I am currently a student at Durham University, about to enter my second year after completing my first year, and I am studying Accounting and Finance.

I’m furthering my education daily to specialize in financial and mixology translation and become a better and more efficient Spanish tutor. In addition, I have an extra degree as a community manager which is not 100 % related to coaching. I specialise in teaching conversational Spanish

I’m passionate about teaching and problem-solving. I keep learning new techniques to solve the problems and help students in growing their area. I specialise in Maths and Physics at both primary and secondary school levels. I’ve spent years helping classmates during my own studies and guiding my own children up to GCSE levels to improve their grades. I completed my school and university education from India and I am a Engineering graduate in Computer Science. I have worked with global corporates in IT sector. As part of my academics subjects Maths and Physics have been always my favourite and I scored A* (UK equivalent) in both.

To Administrators : my schedule is not open to trial lessons, only regular students. Any booking of a trial in my schedule would be considered as a mistake from the administrator. This message has been precised here by advice from the administration itself to avoid any mistake about this subject. To regular students : Hello ! I'm Valentin and I'm an enthusiastic french tutor. Willing to learn French and discover all its secrets ? Here I am ! I offer and adapt my lessons to be suitable for all ages. Whether it's simple conversation, grammar exercises, comprehension, writing, reading or pronunciation. I will work with you to improve your French the best way possible. I can also help with homework or GCSE preparation ! However, you will see that studying with me is not like school. I don't do notation system. What's important for me is to relax the student so that he wants to try to express without being afraid of making a mistake. And even if he does, I could take time to correct him and see together how to improve himself. Mistakes are part of the process of learning. About myself ! I'm mostly a travel-addict and I tell my stories by making cartoons. I've been teaching French to people for two years now and I really discovered the joy to share.
