I'm Ben and have an MSci and BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Chemistry. I have always loved learning about the sciences as they are so applicable to the world around us. I believe that every student should have positive learning experiences in the sciences. I have over two years' experience in tutoring A-Level/GCSE Maths and Science. Furthermore, I have achieved an A* grade in every A-Level subject and a grade 9 in every GCSE subject that I offer. I have invaluable knowledge of exam board specifications, how to best prepare for upcoming examinations, and how to secure those top grades. I am friendly and patient in my approach and want to help each student reach their full potential, regardless of their academic background or the level they are currently working at. Hi! I am a friendly and supportive tutor specialising in Biology A-level/ GCSE, and Chemistry GCSE. I achieved A* AA in these subjects at A level and have experience tutoring students within school. I studied AQA exam boards for Biology and Chemistry, and Edexcel for Maths. My sessions will focus on building confidence and understanding by using past exam questions as examples to highlight key concepts and how to approach them during exams. During the sessions, we will work through topics that you may struggle on together and practice with exam-style questions so you’re fully prepared. The topics we cover will be completely led by you, so that you get the most out of our time together.
