Hello, my name is Helen and I have a BA degree in Criminal Justice Studies from Bradford University. The degree's main subjects were Criminal Law, Psychology, and Forensic Science. My hobbies include watching football, playing tennis, reading, and walking my dog. I have been an online tutor for 3 years. I have taught as an ESL tutor. During this time I have taught people of various ages and abilities. I create a positive learning environment. I personalize learning and create lessons that respond to students' interests. I equip students with the confidence and skills needed to incorporate technology into English language classrooms and for future jobs and life in general. I regularly assess the progress, strengths, and weaknesses of my students and by doing this, I help them fill gaps in their knowledge and learn best. I have a TEFL certificate worth 120 hours of study. I also hold GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths. I also have 4 A - levels including History and Geography and a degree, which I finished in 2003. I celebrated graduating by going to the US.

I am a structural engineer with a background in engineering and architecture. I was an IB student myself so I know how much pressure A Level, IB and GCSE students can be under. I can aid students in understanding tricky concepts by breaking down every problem into manageable pieces. I have a passion for teaching young minds and would love to help your children reach their full potential! I have a Bachelors of architecture and a Masters of engineering from UCL. Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question!
