I was born in London but raised in Barcelona, so I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick. I enjoy going on walks, visiting historical sites, meeting friends, swimming, reading, and writing. I did a Spanish Baccalaureate in Barcelone, at Colegi Montserrat de Vallvidrera. I chose the Science baccalaureate, which included Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as History, English, Spanish, Catalan and Philosophy. Hi! I'm Simon, a Chemical Engineering Graduate from the University of Manchester, with over three years of teaching and tutoring experience. For the past 3 years I have been running a tutoring business teaching mostly Maths and Science subjects from Year 7 to A-Level. It also enabled me to contribute meaningfully to the company’s work while developing essential workplace skills such as communication, project management, and adaptability. Since completing my degree, I’ve continued working with the same company, now in a professional capacity with a focus on sustainability. My final-year dissertation centred on sustainable surfactant research, which sparked a deeper interest in the environmental impact of chemical processes. This has led me to transition into a more corporate sustainability role, where I support the integration of sustainable practices across the business.
