I am a Computer Science tutor with a passion for helping students understand complex concepts in programming, algorithms, and problem-solving. With a strong background in coding and technology, I enjoy breaking down challenging topics into simpler, more digestible explanations. I also work on personal projects, including building Discord bots, web applications and electronics. My goal is to inspire students to develop a deep understanding of Computer Science and gain confidence in their skills. I completed my A-Levels in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Music Technology while also serving as deputy head student. I am now pursuing a degree in Computer Science at university, where I continue to develop my expertise in programming, artificial intelligence, and software development.

I am very enthusiastic about Maths and the Sciences. Having just finished my A Levels studying Biology, Physics, and Mathematics at A Level; I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects and enjoy helping others build confidence and improve their understanding. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible for every student. I recently completed my A Levels at Queen Anne's School, Reading, where I studied Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. I've had a strong interest in science, sport and problem-solving since I started secondary school, which has inspired me to pursue a degree in Sports and Exercise Science at university. Prior to that, I completed my GCSEs at King's Academy Prospect, Reading, achieving good results across all subjects, including Maths and the Sciences. During school, I enjoyed helping classmates with revision, which sparked my interest in tutoring. Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.

I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my second year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. My education journey has provided me with joyful and beneficial experiences, as well as challenges that have developed my resilience and shaped me as a person.
