My name is Yasir, I am a dedicated and humble tutor specializing in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am a PhD Student, studying Computer Science (Informatik) at University of Zürich I teach Computer Science (GCSE, A-Level), Math (Year 7 - Year 11) as well as all the Major sciences; Chemistry, Phyiscs, Biology and Combined Science at GCSE level With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich, I have a genuine passion for teaching. I strive to simplify complex concepts and create an inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. My patient and friendly approach ensures that every student achieves comprehensive understanding. I have experience teaching prestigious UK boards such as AQA, OCR, and EdExcel, as well as providing guidance to Leaving Certificate students in the Irish school system. I have always been passionate about teaching Chemistry, Psychology, and Biology, and I have been tutoring these subjects for over a year. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness students grow in confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment for subjects they once found challenging. To see young people’s interest grow as they begin to learn sciences for the first time and to help them build a better understanding of this is very rewarding. My goal is to continue helping students improve their grades by making learning engaging and accessible. When a subject feels difficult, it can be discouraging to persevere, which is why I strive to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. As a tutor, I believe in adapting my teaching approach to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that they find the subject both approachable and interesting. I have achieved 10 GCSEs, in which I received: a Grade 9 in Chemistry, a Grade 8 in Physics, Food Preparation and Nutrition and Geography. 3 Grade 7’s in Biology, Maths and German and 3 Grade 6’s in English Literature, English Language and Religion, Psychology and Ethics. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A in Chemistry, an A in Psychology, and an A in Biology. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bristol.
